The fear of school was intimidating, all I could think about is on what could go wrong. I then heard footsteps come towards me and stand there.
"Big, isn't it." I turned my head to find Rosano with a wide smile across his face.
"Yea. Sure is." I said with a chuckle. My nerves were trembling with fear. Everything that week happened so fast. If it wasn't for Rosano, I wouldn't have been stable. He reminded me that all I had to do was breath and count to ten. If you can stand something for 10 minutes you can stand anything for 1 minute. 1 minute goes to standing something for 1 hour. 1 hour goes to standing something for 1 day. A day leads to a month, a months leads to a year. Then you start over. It is the best tactic in the world for me. I felt Rosano grab my hand, I looked at him while he assured me that he would be with me the whole time. I nodded my head and he let go of my hand. We headed inside. I stepped inside the red brick building. From the outside it looked like the roof went on forever. In reality there were just three floors. Rosano and I got there an hour early so he can show me around the school. First he showed me to my locker. It was close to his, but still farther away since we are in different grades. When I got my schedule we realized that we both had an art class for grade 9's and 10's. Unfortunately we had the only 1 class together, and it was 4th period. This school was really safe and had a high rate of education. Jacob said that for us all we had to remember was two things. Our fake names, and our fake lives. Here we are all known as brother's and sisters, that are adopted in to one family. Parent teacher meetings were hard, but after some disguises and makeup, you get by. I just finished closing my locker, heading off to my first class. When I ran into a girl. Literally. I started to rub my forehead, "Oh my god. I am so sorry." She kept rambling on on how sorry she was and how she wasn't looking where she was going. "I am really, really sorry." She finally finished.
"It's okay. I accepted your apology the first time you said sorry." A big nervous smile came across her face. She rubbed her arm like she hurt it or something.
"Sorry about that. I tend to say sorry too much." The smile across her face was contagious. I myself brought a smile to my own. What can I say. Some smiles just get you to smile as well.
"Yeah, I've noticed. It's fine. Really." Her smile became calm, but still as big and wide. She brought out her hand for a shake.
"I'm Kelly." I took out my hand and shook it as well.
"Ally." I remembered to say.
"Nice to meet you Ally. What's your next class?" I looked at my schedule. It's my third block today.
"Math." I said. "With Ms.Loo."
"No way. Me too. Let's go together." I gave her a small nodded. Still smiling. There's something about this girl. I don't know what. She makes me feel comfortable. I don't like it. I don't like it at all.
Art class was great. I haven't drew anything in so long. Rosano has a natural talent. Right now we are drawing a summary of our summer's. Before anyone left the house today we all had to agree on what to say for what we did during our summer vacation. We can't exactly say we were all working, cleaning, taking care of our family, and trying to stay alive because serial killers are after us. Our cover vacation was that for the first 3 weeks of summer vacation we went camping. For the rest of the summer we just stayed at home relaxing. It was hard lying in every one of my classes today. Saying my name was Ally Gallo. Lying about my life, but in art it's different. My paintings, drawings, and artworks can express how I feel. When I'm drawing I feel like a river is flowing through my body without a single rock or piece of wood, stopping my flow.
"Nice work." Ms. Peterson said while glancing at my art work. "Although the entire class in making a picture combining all of the activities they did in the summer in one drawing. What are you doing?" She finished while pointing to my picture. It was a picture of a hurricane. Sweaping up everything in tit's path. "Did you go somewhere where there was a tornado in the summer?"
