Insane 3 | Beloved

"Gimme my robot back," Askari had a frown on his face that resembled his father's looks. He looked at his little sister who wasn't going to give the toy up anytime soon.

"No," the two year old girl murmured, gripping the toy robot with her fingers. Laniya looked at her brother with a similar frown on her face that matched his. The little girl wasn't going to give his toy back because he wasn't even worrying about it until now.

"Gimme," Askari demanded sticking his hand out.

"No," Laniya refused, scooting back on her bum and holding the robot tighter to her.

"Niya! Now!" He had told her once more, getting a bit upset that he wasn't getting his way.

"No!" She fussed at him again.

Askari groaned and simply took the toy away from his sister. She whined and motioned for him to give it back but he didn't. So as like most toddlers would do, she starting crying.

"Woah, what is going on in here?" Zayn came walking down the steps to hear his youngest child crying. He looked at her with worried eyes. "What happened my dear?"

Laniya started babbling as more tears fell down her face. She pointed at Askari who had his head down in guilt with the robot next to him. Zayn looked between the two of them, soon connecting the puzzle pieces together.

"Askari, did you take the robot away from your sister?" Zayn asked his son when he kneeled down on one knee.

He nodded his head slowly, "Yes."

"Did she have it first?" Zayn asked the little boy.

"Yes," he answered in a quiet tone. "I-I was playing with my other toys and she took my robot. He wasn't doing anything though, just sitting there. I got upset because she was playing with it, and I took it."

"If you weren't playing with it then you shouldn't have took it," Zayn told him a gentle tone. "What if Niya took something away from you? That be wouldn't nice, now would it?"

"No," he murmurs feeling bad.

"Maybe you two can play with each other and have a robot invasion," Zayn suggested taking the toy and handing it to his daughter. "Sounds good?"

"Come on sissy," Askari extended his hand out for his sister. She smiled, taking his hand and going over to the city made of blocks.

Zayn smiled and stood up to his feet. He loved his kids so much. Being a dad was just so great because it gave him a very special feeling. Askari was his little man and Laniya was his precious angel. They acted alike but had their differences. Askari was just like his mother; spunky, silly, and wild. With short cut curly hair on top of his head and light brown eyes, he could get what he wanted just by batting his eyelashes. He was a little daredevil at heart but was very loving. Laniya was a mini girl version of Zayn, very quiet and reserved, but could be sassy and vocal at times. She enjoyed observing things and people. When she was born she didn't talk much, even at the age when she was supposed to be making baby noises, she was cut. The doctor assured the parents that she was healthy and fine. All they had to do was he patient, and eventually Laniya started babbling and talking in her baby language. Even though she was quiet she still liked the feeling of closeness when it came to her family.

Moments later the sound of the door unlocking is what made everybody jump up in excitement—including Zayn.

The gorgeous woman herself came walking into the house with a lot of black sacks in her hands. She smiled at the sound of her children calling her name in pure joy. Mori Malik closed the door with her foot and dropped the sacks to the side so she could get down on her knees and hug her kids.
