Serena's POV

For the tenth time today I declined my sister's call as I walk down the streets of downtown Toronto. The area is filled with so much life, I look around and see people hugging, kissing and laughing.

 I enter Tim Horton to get a cup of coffee, as I pick up my order as my phone buzzes. I instantly decide to decline only to realize it was Kazimi who was calling me. I take a seat and placing the coffee on the table.

I take out my phone and watch as it vibrates. Finally, I decide to pick up.

"Hello," I say to Kazimi.

"Serena, are you home? ," he asks me in a hushed tone.

"No, I stepped out to get a coffee" I reply as I take a sip.

"Oh, okay, anyways Dominic is hosting an event tonight and he has invited both of us, would you like to go? "

"Yeah, this will be great for us, we can gain more networks" I reply instantly.

"Okay then, be ready by 7 pm, and it's a formal event," he say's ending of the call.

This is great, maybe now I can find out why Dominic Arezi looks so familiar.

I finally finish getting ready and make my way downstairs. I see Kazimi waiting for me while scrolling through his phone. He looks up to meet my eyes and nods at me in acknowledgment. My eyes take in his appearance, he looked quite handsome wearing a dark blue suit.

We quickly hurry to make our way to the garage and getting in our car. As we drive a feeling of uneasiness pools in the depths of my stomach. I ignore it as much as I could and direct my focus outside. 

I watch as we pass by the countless trees and people, once in a while I can feel Kazimi glance at me but I don't think much about it and continue to look outside.

Finally, we stop at a huge mansion, many cars are parked around the house already. I make my way out and link my arms around Kazimi's as we make our way to the house. As soon as we enter many girls shamelessly check out Kazimi, but he ignores it. The place was decorated quite grandly and everywhere you turn you can catch the whiff of wealth. I watch as many people interact we one another, laughing, drink and having a good time. I slowly look around only to see Dominic make his way toward us, suddenly Kazimi's grip tightens 's around me.

I direct my attention from Kazimi to Dominc's, he was wearing a black suit, with his hair slicked back. His suit hugged onto him perfectly tailored for perfection. I watch as he greets many people around him as he makes his way toward us.

"Glad you both were able to make it," he says as he greets Kazimi and I.

"I just smile in response as Kazimi says something to him. The unsettling feeling was still lingering within me. I suddenly feel Kazimi nudge my shoulder and I quickly come back to reality.

"Meet my brother's Damian and Daren" I hear Dominic say.

I look towards Dominic's direction only to see two men standing next to him. They certainly did look somewhat like Dominic. There were some differences in their features, but you can tell they were related. The only difference was Damian had dark brown hair whereas Daren had light brown hair. I shake both of their hands and politely smile at them. My eyes bore into all three of them, now that I think of it, they all looked familiar.

I once again zone out only to hear Daren say something about his fiance. I continue to zone out only to feel another presence join us. I snap out of my trance and that's when hell freezes over.
