Common Room Couch

It was just after Dinner as I decided to stay in the common room on the couch and read.

I and Draco stood outside the Great Hall as we still had to stage a relationship.

He took my hand and walked me to the common room.

On the way here I decided to break the silence by talking.

I was only talking about plans and just typical things for me to talk about.

By typical I obviously meant books, he listened no matter what which I respected a lot.

I mean even a two years later from the first time he walked me to the dungeons we still get stared at.

But still two years on we are still walking side by side.

I mean these last two years have certainly brought us closer than we ever have been which is nice.

'Night' Draco said with a slight smile, he smiled a lot more since we've been staging this all.

'Goodnight Mister Malfoy' I said with a smile, I've been smiling a lot more since we started staging it.

I had told him that I was going to sit and read in the common room while we were walking here.

I sat down having my book in my hand as I had taken it to Dinner dressed in my pj's.

Which as far as I know I had taken this shirt from my brother and the tights were and old pair from last year.

Not that it really mattered too much what I wore to bed, it wasn't as if anyone was watching me.

I sat there reading Romeo and Juliet and cried a few times, I can't relate too much to the book.

But it was as if this books sums up the first time me and Draco met.

I met him before 1st year had even started, it was more like 2 days before.

I went shopping for school with my parents and we run into none other than him.

Then the next day his parents threw him a good luck party.

That slowly turned into me liking him slightly.

That then slowly turned into a meeting about when we are becoming death eaters.

Safe to say that my first few days even knowing him just sucked.

Now I've gotten used to having and seeing him around.

Him and his family now visit often which I got used to.

Where as before I hated running into him in the safety of my own home.

But now it isn't too bad, we just play board games or muggle games and talk.

I mean it's fun having him there sometimes and other times I don't feel great.

Most times he gets the 'back off' memo from me, so he does back off.

I mean that is always great to know that I can respect him and he can respect me.

I didn't see much of what happened in the next 10 minutes.

One moment I was reading words off a page and the next moment everything went black.

Safe to say that I had fallen asleep while reading which happened often, too often as a matter of fact.

Hours later I had woken up slightly confused.

I was still on the couch but I had a blanket over me.

I looked over to the couch opposite, what I saw took me by great surprise.

I seen Draco curled up without a blanket which was so cute.

I smiled with joy.
