One Day More

I laughed walking through the much crowded corridors of the castle.

I was heading back to my dormitory getting ready for a date with Draco.

I was laughing to myself because everyone was talking.

This had happened every four years as that was a leap year.

On that exact leap day everyone would claim their parents were born.

Upon doing so it would decrease their parents ages by a lot.

Leaving their parents at least the ages of most of the second years here at Hogwarts.

This rumour is always spread around and this time of year.

Obviously with the leap day of the year approaching.

Once getting back to my dormitory in which Sam and Joely were not currently in.

I had looked for an outfit while attempting to read a book.

I mean not that it wasn't weird nor unexpected of me to be reading at such an unusual time.

I looked between both a black dress, white dress and a black playsuit.

I was still deciding, I didn't want to look too much but I didn't want to look as if I hadn't put the effort in.

I ended up after a long debating with myself to go with the black dress.

This black dress was themed to fit a house wive dress for the 90's which is beautiful.

I had the added a pair of black heels that were also themed to fit 90's house wives styles.

Once finding a black bag among the clutter if the space under my bed, I looked at myself in the mirror.

I entered the shared bathroom that was obviously shared upon me, Sam and Joely.

I put on a natural make up look which fitted with the whole middle effort vibe.

I took two books and placed them into my bag.

Then drawing my wand from my bad in order to lock my door.

Once locking my door I started walking.

Draco hadn't minded me taking books on dates we had.

He liked the fact that I liked to read so much, I liked that.

I mean I respected him as a person for numerous things and they are just one of the many more.

He just has that thing about him that nobody sees.

I shrugged all feelings off and kept heading towards the courtyard.

The courtyard in which Draco had requested me to meet him in a lot.

This was also were one of our many pureblood X mudblood arguments were.

Regarding the fact that I am also a pureblood.

I swear he always forgets that one factor, clearly doesn't care.

I got there to be greeted by not only the eyes of Draco staring at me but many more also.

I mean seriously 'sorry that I'm Draco Malfoy's girlfriend now'.

I swear that is the one thing that this whole school are waiting for.

I smiled at Draco then walked over to him and say in the picnic blanket beside him, continuing that smile.

We talked for at least an hour or two which was always a pleasure.

I mean taking to someone in general who understands me is amazing.

I seriously couldn't ask for a better boyfriend right now nor ever.

'You know Nik, I love you more this year!' Draco said very happy about his finding, of course.

I mean seriously I did know that but I was allowing him to have his fun.

I was going to play along just for his entertainment.

'Okay, Mr Sweet Talker' I replied rolling my eyes slightly.

I got used to Draco sweet talking most of the time.

'No, you don't get it. I literally love you more this year, it's a leap year.' Draco stated happier than a child at Christmas.

I mean he did have a point and I wasn't going to ruin that moment.

'I love you 366 days this year! I'm glad I have an extra day with you, love' Draco said with the happiest smile ever.

Then in that moment our lips met and we kissed.

I seriously wish there was 366 days every year.

I would get to enjoy this conversation and this kiss every year.

Instead of just every four years.

One day more, indeed.
