This is the locket 👆👆
It was Christmas. Sofia, Grandma and I was riding with Stefan. He was taking us to the mall. Sofia was really excited. She was going on and on about the games that we could play there. Sometimes I felt pity for the poor girl. Because of Stefan and his uncle's 'Mafia' thing she had to stay hidden from the world.
"Are you listening?" she asked me and I smiled at her.
"Yes baby girl, I'm listening," I replied. As the mall can into view she started jumping and we all laughed at her.
"We're here!! We're here!!" she exclaimed.
"Yes, yes, we're here," Stefan told her and laughed.
We got out of the car and went in. The mall was decorated a lot. All the shops had trees of their own and had green, kred and white fairy lights. They were so pretty. Sofia started running ahead of us with Grandma walking fast behind her asking her to slow down. Me and Stefan walked slowly. He slipped his hand into mine. It was warm. He pulled me a little closer to him.
"Listen," he whispered and I went closer so he could whisper it in my ear like he seemed to want.
"I have a Christmas present for you," he said.
"Oh, Stefan, you didn't have to," I said.
"Wait," he said and came to stand still. I stopped too. He took out a small box from his pocket. I stared.
"I saw this while buying a present for Sofia and thought of you so I took it," he said and have me the box. I opened it. There was a locket inside. It was really pretty. It was a crescent moon with a heart beside in blue color.
"It glows in the dark. It reminded me of you because the night you found me you helped me and you came in my life and lit me up," he said looking into my eyes. I didn't know what to say.
He made me turn around and put it around my neck. He then kissed me on the cheek, held my hand again and continued walking, taking me along with him.
We found Sofia playing bowling and Grandma watching her.
"Hey, guys," Ryan said appearing with Britney. He had picked her up because her car was at the garage.
The rest of the night was a blur. Soon it was near 12 and we were outside at the city square. The fireworks were about to begin.
"Happy New Year!!!" everybody shouted as the bell rang and the clock showed it was 12. The beginning of a new year. And I started it with Stefan on one of my sides and Ryan on my other.
I know, late update. I'm sorry but I won't be able to update again before 10th July because I have exams.
