~~~Flashback~~~
"Kiera, this is a promise ring. I promise to stay with you and be by your side. I promise to love you. I promise to hold on and to never let you go. I promise you 'Always'. I promise to never hurt you intentionally. I promise to keep you safe and protect you. And last but not least I promise to replace this promise ring with a marriage ring someday," he said and I couldn't stop my tears anymore. They flowed as he kissed my hand, then my forhead and finally, my lips.
~~~Flashback ends~~~

"I'd love to go in and take you but I need to take you somewhere," Stefan whispered against my lips. Damnn.. I wasn't done kissing him yet. I wanted more. This guy was gonna be the death of me.

"Okay, let's go," I said. He pulled me by my hand and took me to his Volvo. He held the door open as I got in. Then he got in and started driving. He took an solemn road that I had never taken before. I was so curious by that point.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked him.

"It's a surprise babe," he replied. I huffed and he chuckled.

Finally he stopped the car at the road side. It looked like the middle of nowhere.
"We're here," he said getting out and opening the door for me.

"Where?" I asked.

"Just come with me," he said and offered me his hand. I took it.

We started walking towards a track. Well it was a hidden track. There were roots and trees and whatnot. I tripped countless times but Stefan always caught me. It was dark but he somehow knew the way.

Finally I could see light in front and suddenly we were in a field. It was more like a meadow and it was decorated with lanterns. There was a table for two with candles. There were roses and daisies and the smell was wonderful.

"Whoa..," I said before I could form a coherent thought.

"Do you like it?" he asked. Honestly, the guy worried too much. What wasn't to like? Everything looked perfect.

"You did this?" I asked in wonder.

"Yes," he said his tone still laced with worry.

"It's perfect Stefan," I told him still looking around.

"Yes, it is," he said and I caught him looking at me when he said that.

"Come, let's have dinner he said pulling me to the table. And on the table there were McDonalds bags. O....kay. I still wasn't sure what kind of date this was. He laughed at my expression.

We were full when music started playing all around. He stood up and asked me for a dance. I took his hand. We danced for a long time. At the end we were swaying holding each other. It was the best date. Literally.

"It's time," he said suddenly.

"For what?" I asked.

"Come," he said and laid a mat on the grass.

"Lie down with me," he said patting the space next to him.

"O...kay," I said in confusion.

I laid down on his right and looked at him.

"Look up," he said. I looked. What I saw took away my breath. There were a million stars. The sky was full of them. They were glistening. I stared in wonder.

After some time I turned toward Stefan looked at him to find him staring at me. He looked at me like I looked at the stars.

"Kiera, I love you," he said holding my hand and placing it on his chest right over his heart. I could feel it beating.

"I love you too, Stefan," I told him.

He hugged me and held me for a long time. I hadn't realised how time had passed that quick. We fell asleep like that.

Stefan woke me up when it was still dark.

"I want to show you something," he said. We sat together staring at the sky until it changed color. Dawn really was a time when you could see the sky in all its glory. The colors mixed and played until it became blue.

We got up and started walking. We walked to the car. The drive was silent. We both were sleepy. Stefan held my hand the whole time. Reaching home, we both ran to the bed and fell asleep again. It was then that I realized that the house had started to finally feel like home.
