How are you supposed to be at two places at the same time... Shadow clone!!! Today it's not like I have a choice I'm supposed to spend the morning in TI... Oh, right I kinda forgot to say... I lost a bet to Ibiki yesterday evening... Now, I've gotta spend the morning cleaning cells, why do I even bother betting with him? I mean, every time I do, I get a weird/horrible dare...
Today's no exception, I tell myself while scrubbing the bloodstains, I prepared two clones... One pops every hour while the other goes to take his place so I get the info and when he pops I spawn a new one to take the other's place... Umm, I'll make a diagram to make it easier for you:

Better? Well, the information rush from my clone tells me that we're taking a mission this afternoon... Better finish this quickly or I'm gonna be later than Bakashi...
I'm standing at attention in front of Ibiki... I hate that smug look of his... But still, he's not insufferable, just giving me a lesson on not participating in stupid ANBU bets...
"Fox, is your 'work' done? Or are you here to try and talk me out of your dare?
- Of course, it's done... I'm not dumb enough to think that I could talk you out of a dare... It's just that I didn't bitch about it as much as the others... And that I have a mission this afternoon...
- Part of your long-term mission ?" He cut me off, clever interrogator, clever...
"It's a SECRET!
- Nothing is ever a secret here, and you know that, Fox... I take great pride in making sure that my operatives and ANBUs know that they 'can', he coughs, come here to talk about their missions... Now come sit down in my office we're gonna... Talk "
God, damnit! I follow him to the interrogation room he calls 'his office' ... Of course, this stupid chair is as comfortable as a bed of nails... Well, guess Iruka-chan is gonna know about my status, Oh well... It's not like he doesn't know it already but Ibiki is definitely gonna confirm his hunch...
"So... What is your long-term mission about ?"
In the end, I cracked and told him everything, I guess it's normal considering he's the head of TI and all, but still... I'm not particularly proud of myself for failing to keep my status a secret... The good thing is that I can come to chill out here with him and Anko during nights when I've got no mission and I'm scared of sleeping in my crappy apartment, I mean did you really think I could booby trap the all thing with me playing the idiot wannabe Hokage? The only thing I could do was seal everything that had to do with ANBU and add anti-tagging paint all over my apartment... I might have also added a few privacy seals to my closet, well my room... I kinda made my room look like a closet with the genjutsu, my bad! But still the paranoia they drill you in ANBU won't suddenly disappear and It feels like I'm sleeping naked in enemy territory with absolutely no weapons... I guess I can take that as a win... I hurry towards the training ground... Kawarimi with my clone and goes on with the team to take another mission...
