Chapter 3
Recap:
Suddenly, the door opened, I screamed.
"Hey, hey, hey, calm down, it's just me" said drew
"Ya, that's why I'm screaming, this is the girls bathroom!"
"The teacher sent me to see what was taking you so long"
"Oh, well, I'm done"
"Alright then, let's get back to class before she gives us double detention" he said putting his arm around my shoulder and walking me back to the room.
He put his arm around me and sparks went through my body, I guess he felt it too because he slightly shuddered. Our eyes met, I blushed. We got back to the classroom and the teacher dismissed us to go.
"Hey, race you to my car" drew said
"Oh you're so on" we ran from the building to his truck and he won, I guess football does help
"Ha ha, I won" he sang mockingly
"No fair, you went on two, everyone knows you go oh three not two!"
"Well at least I didn't try to trip you" he said sarcastically
"Fine you win but I call a rematch"
"Whatever makes you happy."
We drove to the beach in silence until one of my favorite songs came on
**DREW'S POV**
"Don't stop, make it pop DJ, blow my speakers up tonight, I'mma fight 'til we see the sunlight"
Gosh, she had such a pretty voice, no wonder she had been pre-accepted to Juilliard. I was really gonna miss her when she left.
"You know, you have such a beautiful voice"
She blushed, "thanks"
"Hey, guess what''
"What"
"We're here"
"Awesome, race you to the water, GO!" she shouted kicking off her shoes and socks and bolted towards the shore.
"Hey! No fair" I yelled running trying to catch up
"Who's the winner now" she smiled and giggled
I walked up behind her and picked her up as if I was going to throw her into the water
She screamed "AAAAAHHH, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO"
"Hmm, looks like it still me" I smirked and put her down
"Jerk" she said playfully while splashing me with water
I held my hands up to block my face and we started laughing, our eyes met. Come on Drew, just do it, kiss her. I started to lean in, and surprisingly she did to, just when I was about to kiss her, her phone rang.
**AMY'S POV**
He started to lean in to kiss me. Oh my gosh, he's going to try and kiss me! Wait WHAT?!? He wants to kiss ME?!? Oh my gosh do I want to kiss him back? I started to lean in to. Our lips were inches apart when my phone rang. I groaned and pulled back, it was Liam.
"Hello?" I said in a grumpy voice
"Hey, dog, where are you, I got home and like you weren't there"
"Look out the back window smart one"
"Oh, it's cool, never mind"
"Bye Liam"
"Oh hey can you make dinner when you get back, I'm hungry"
"There's some leftover food in the fridge, knock yourself out" I hung up the phone.
"Sorry about that" I said
"That's ok, umm... well, I have to go"
"What? But we just got here" I got sad
"I know, I'm sorry, but my, err, mom needs help with dinner"
"Oh, ok, see you tomorrow"
"Ya umm, sorry.....bye" he started jogging towards his house and left me standing there
What was that, I thought, he was about to kiss me and then just left? I was so confused, did he like me? Why would he just rum off like that? Uggg, I hated Liam right now, he ruined a perfectly good moment, but I was sure of one thing,
