Chapter 11

**DREW'S POV**

"Drew" she mumbled again. She stirred again and her eyes slowly opened

We all stared in shock as she opened her eyes. I let out the breath I had been holding.

"Amy?" I slowly asked

"Drew?"

**AMY'S POV**

"Amy?" he asked slowly with concern in his eyes

"Drew?" I asked I couldn't remember anything. I looked around the unfamiliar room.

"WHERE THE HELL AM I?" I almost shouted shooting up I felt a stabbing pain in my stomach and instantly laid back down

"I wouldn't do that babe, you just had surgery" said Drew

What! I just had surgery?! How is that possible? I thought I was at home and did he just call me babe?

"What did you call me?" I asked

"Oh, um, I'm sorry, I didn't mean..." he looked away

"No, its ok, I like it" I said smiling. He turned back and had a huge smile on his face

"So, what happened?" I asked. My mom answered this time

"Well sweetie, your appendix erupted and you needed surgery to fix it" she had a look of concern on her face

"My appendix exploded?" I asked in shock

"Yes but you're ok now

"Oh, so I'm guessing I'm in the hospital" I said

"Yes"

"So how long do I have to stay here?" I asked

"About two weeks" she said

Just then, the doctor walked in, "oh good, your awake" he said holding a clipboard "it time to give you your pain meds" he walked over to the IV and injected

the needle, "I'll be back in a few hours to see how you're doing" he said and walked out

"Well, we better go get Liam" said my mom; it was almost 5 in the morning

"Ya, agreed my dad, we need to unpack"

"Daniel, do you want to come with us?" asked my mom

He turned and looked at me

"It's ok, you can go" I said giving him a playful look

"I'll see you tomorrow" he said giving me a kiss on the cheek and walking out the door

I turned to look at Drew who was still holding my hand "you can go too if you want, you probably haven't slept in like a day" I said

"No way, I'm staying right here with you" he said with love in his eyes

"Are you sure, you need your sleep?"

"Yup, if I didn't stay, I couldn't do this" he said and leaned in to kiss me.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and he put his on my waist. I winced and pulled away

"I'm sorry! Did I hurt you!" he said pulling back a little and taking his hands off of my waist

"A little, but it's the good kind of pain" I said smiling weakly and leaned back up to kiss him

"No" he said and pulled away

"Why not?" I asked with a hurt tone

"Don't be sad" he said stroking my hair "I just don't want to hurt you"

"You won't hurt me, I trust you" I said pulling him back

"Amy" he started to say but I cut him off with my lips on his. He tried to pull away but I kept a firm grip on him. Eventually he gave up and deepened the kiss. I

felt his tongue brush agenst my bottom lip asking for entrance, I instantly granted it, I felt his tongue exploring my mouth, I moaned in pleasure. We were interrupted by the sound of someone clearing their throat. We broke away and I saw a nurse standing in the doorway.

"Amy?"

"Yes" I asked while Drew got up and sat down

"I'm here to take a blood sample"

"Oh, um ok" I said as she walked over and typed something into the IV. I looked down at my extended arm and saw blood gushing out. Gross. The blood

stopped coming out and she unhooked the bag.

"Ok, I'll be back in a few hours to do another" she said and walked out

I looked at drew, he was looking at his hands in his lap

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Nothing, I was just thinking of what could have happened if I didn't get you to the hospital in time" he said still looking at his hands.

"Drew, look at me" I said, he looked up "you did get me here on time, you saved my life, and even if something did go wrong, you know I would still love you"

"But I would never be able to forgive myself" he said standing up, "Amy, you mean everything to me, if something, even the tiniest thing happened to you I

would never ...." He droned off

"Drew, listen to me, you mean the world to me, if something did happen, just know that I would be there watching over you and when the time comes, you

would be with me" I said pulling him to sit on the bed

"Fine" he sighed,"but your mine, no matter what happens"

"Forever" I said and pulled him in to kiss me
