Chapter 15

The drive home seemed to take forever and my stomach was starting to hurt again. I put my hand over my stomach trying to get rid of the pain but it just made it worse.

"are you ok Cherry?" asked Drew

Aww, he's concerned about me, "ya, I'm fine, my stomach just hurts"

"don't worry, were almost to your house, you can take some pain meds" he said giving me a small smile

"ya, ok" I mumbled and leaned back agenst his shoulder

We pulled up to my driveway and Drew walked over and opened the door for me. I stepped out and he picked me up bridal style. Normally I wouldn't have let

him but I was too tired and my stomach hurt too much to make me do anything. He carried me in the house, walked over to the kitchen and sat me down on

the counter. He walked over to the cabinet and pulled out a bottle of pain meds giving me two to take. I swallowed them dry.

"I'm sorry you got suspended" he said walking over to me and wrapping his arms around my waist.

"it's not your fault" I said and broke down in his arms burying my face in his shirt

"it's ok" he said stroking my back, "don't cry, it makes me sad to see you like this"

I pulled my head up and looked him in the eye. They were mixed with sorrow and something else I couldn't tell. "she threw my locket down the drain, it's

gone" I said on the verge of tears again

"ssshh, don't start crying again, it's just a locket, it means nothing compared to how much I love you. I got it as a reminder of how much I do, even though the

lockets gone, my feelings aren't" he said stroking the side of my face

I smiled, "I love you too"

His eyes lit up and he pulled me off of the counter wrapping my legs around his waist and kissed me with so much passion thought I would faint. I giggled

agenst his lips. He pulled away. "what was that for?" I asked

"I told you I love you, so I needed to show it too" he said his eyes full of lust.

"I don't think you showed it enough" I said leaning back in

"don't even think about it!" Daniel yelled from the top of the stairs

I giggled and got off of Drew. Daniel carried his two suitcases down the stairs and put them by the door.

"do you have to leave today?" I asked sad that I wasn't going to see him for another year

"yeah, I'm sorry but unless you want me to get kicked out of USC I have to go" he said giving me a hug. A tear ran down my cheek. Daniel was my brother, I

loved him and I was really going to miss him. My parents had left to go back to their business trip in SanFrinciscio last week and had already said goodbye to

him.

"I'll miss you"

"I'll miss you two baby girl. Take care"

"I will" I said forcing myself to smile. Daniel turned to Drew

"and you, if you ever hurt my baby sister, I swear, I will come back just to break your face" he said

"yes sir" Said Drew jokingly. "it was good to see you again"

"you too" said Daniel shaking his hand. Drew and I helped Daniel carry his bags out to his truck and said goodbye one last time. We watched him drive off

and went back into the house.

"so, what do you want to do now" said Drew looking at me hopefully

"I don't know, what do you want to do" I said shrugging my shoulders

"well, we could go upstairs and do our homework"

"oh, yeah, homework, fun" I said scarcasticlly

"yup" he said and grabbed our backpacks and headed towards the stairs. I followed him and plopped down on my bed while Drew got my stuff from my bag.

This was going to be a long night.
