A Midnight Stroll chp. 6

Hey ppl, here's the next chapter, this was one of my favorites to write, hope you enjoy reading it comment, vote, ect.

"Daniel?" was all I could before I was squashed in a bear hug by my brother. I broke down in his arms.

"Hey, hey, take it easy, I missed you too" my brother said smiling

"I know, I just missed you a lot" I looked up to see worry and concern in his eyes"

"Don't you lie to me, I know when my baby sister is upset, and I can definitely tell because your home early, you've only done that once before in fourth grade when you and Drew had that big fight. Remember? I had to come and pick you up and you started crying in my arms."

"Oh, yea" I hated my brother at sometimes, not in a bad way, he always saw right through me, kind of like Drew does....

"So what's wrong? Did you and Drew have another fight, 'cuz if you did I can go punch him in the face for you"

I wiped away my tears and gave a light laugh, "no, the other day, well more like the other week, me and Drew went to the beach and he leaned in to kiss me, I leaned in to kiss him too but stupid Liam called and ruined the moment. After that, he just left me there stranded, knowing that I wanted to kiss him too." I was almost back to tears at the memory.

"Hey, don't start crying again" he said with a smile on his face "don't worry, everything's going to be ok, I'm here"

I smiled and gave him another hug

"Now go upstairs and clean yourself up and ill make us a snack and we can talk more ok?"

"Ok" I ran upstairs and fixed my make up and threw on a sweatshirt. I came back down stairs and was greeted by the smell of chocolate. I walked into the kitchen o see Daniel making his special coco.

"one coco for you and one for me" he said as he placed a cup In front of me and sat down at the table "so, are you and Daniel together now" he asked while taking a sip of coco.

"No but I like him and I think he likes me but in not so sure anymore"

"Well, have you talked to him since the day on the beach?"

"No, I've been too busy crying my eyes out"

"well, there's your problem, you need to talk to him, I'm sure he has a good reason for doing whatever he did, if you guys just talk it out, I'm sure everything will be just fine" he said smiling

"Thanks, I can always count on you Daniel"

"Any time"

"So, what are you doing here anyway?"

"Well since it's almost spring break and I have enough points I decided to come visit but I see mom and dad are away again"

"Ya, they left two weeks ago"

"Hmm, I'll have to call them later. How's Liam doing, annoying as usual?"

"Haha, yup, he should be home any minute now" I said looking at my watch

"Great, bring on the rap"

We both laughed. I got up and headed upstairs, I could hear the sound the door opening and Liam screaming "yo, yo, yo, wat up big bro" I rolled my eyes. I went in my room to start my homework. About two hours later, Daniel called me and Liam to dinner; it was nice not having to cook for a while. I partially ran down the stairs, I was starved; I hadn't had a chance to eat lunch.

"Woh" the table was filled with food, potatoes, corn, carrots, rice and a fat chicken "what's with all the food" I asked looking hungrily at it.

"What? I'm here, I thought we should celebrate" he said with a smile
