"Oof!"
"Ow!"
"Ugh!"
"GET YOUR BUTT OFF MY FACE VALDEZ!"
We land on top of each other, on a beach. I stand up. It's Ogygia.
"We made it!"Jason yells.
My friends and I cheer.
Then I see the love of my life.
Calypso.
She looks so beautiful. Her hair swept over her shoulder, her face in disbelief and love, the way the wind made her skirt flutter.
We run to each other at the same time. I
I am reminded that we acted like Percy and Annabeth months ago when they saw each other for the first time since they got separated by Hera. Except I didn't get judo flipped.
"Leo,"she sobs into my shirt."I thought I wouldn't see you again."
Tears start to form in my eyes too.
Then we kiss. And at that moment I swear nothing else mattered. The land could've blown up. It was okay as long as we were together.
"Let's get you outta here,"I say, and she takes one last look at her island, and we leave.
"Let's get set for Olympus,"I say. Calypso said she had a dream of Aphrodite telling her that Zeus would take away her immortality.
Which takes away my worries about being with her.
