“Good Morning Great Britain,” a perky lady said to a camera broadcasting live to the whole country. “It’s 7:15 this morning and we’re here with a very special guest, or should I say guests.”
“That’s right Amy,” said her co-host, a slick looking man in a suit. “Joining us on the couch this morning is the British-Irish boy band, The Wanted. We’re here with Max, Jay, Siva, Nathan and Tom. How’s it going boys?”
“It’s going great,” Tom replied and the boys all nodded their agreement.
“Fantastic, great to hear,” the man smiled way too widely. “So, you boys have been very successful since your formation in 2009. I understand you’ve had two albums as well as an EP released earlier this year. On top of that, many of your singles have been very successful on the charts. How are you boys handling the fame?”
“We’re just doing the best we can every day,” Jay answered. “We have an absolutely incredible fan base, and a great support system, and we love what we get to do every day.”
“By your support system, we’re guessing you mean your team and crew, including your lovely manager Jayne,” the lady continued. “But we understand there’s also a family element to your team. You’ve been sighted many times with two young ladies, the younger sisters of Max and Tom, yes? It seems to anyone on the outside that you’re all very close, aren’t you?”
“Of course,” Max nodded. “I think I speak for Tom as well when I say we love our sisters, more than almost anyone. They both live with us, and my sister is pretty much my best friend. So yeah, they usually go everywhere with us, and they’re the biggest fans we have.”
“And what about the rest of you boys?” She turned to Nath, Jay and Siva. “Not being related to the girls, how do you feel about having them around?”
“Well see, they’re pretty much sisters to us as well,” Siva shrugged. “I mean, we’ve known them for years, and we’re usually always together.”
“Yeah, we love the girls,” Nathan agreed.
“Well, seeing as they’re like sisters to you, I guess that means there are no romantic feelings there? Would that be weird for any of you?”
“I wouldn’t say weird,” Jay spoke up. “More dangerous, because I’m pretty sure Max and Tom would kick our asses if we went there.”
Max and Tom looked to each other and nodded solemnly, high fiving across the other boys. The host giggled girlishly.
“Stupid big brothers,” Tay grumbled beside me. I laughed and patted her shoulder sympathetically.
“You heard him though,” I grinned at her. “He said he looooves you!”
“Correction,” she held up a finger. “He said he loves us.”
“Yes, but I’m his bestest friend,” I pointed out. She just rolled her eyes and focused on her phone. I pulled my own out, deciding to send a quick tweet.
AwkwardlyMavis Watching our boys rock an interview with @ItssTaylahBitch :)
“Ladies and gentlemen, The Wanred,” the hosts closed the interview after asking the boys some more questions. They joined us backstage before we were all ushered out by Jane and into a car.
“What’d you girls think?” Siva questioned, referring to the interview.
“We’ve seen better,” we said in unison, not even meaning to.
“Nah, it was really good,” I said once we stopped laughing. “You guys just look totally adorable on screen.”
“Plus, I’m pretty sure the host had a crush on at least one of you,” Tay said with a cheeky smile.
“Um, she’s married,” Tom pointed out.
“Oh, she wasn’t talking about the woman,” I tried to hold in my laughter. They all shot each other worried looks and we were gone. If we weren’t wearing seatbelts, I think we would have been literally rolling around the seats in laughter.
“Very funny,” Nathan grumbled. I reached over and took his hat off to ruffle his hair. He snatched it back, placing it on his head carefully. Tay and I just laughed again.
“What are we doing tonight?” Tay asked the boys.
“Michelle, Kelsey and Nareesha are all coming round to ours for dinner and movies,” Max replied. Yay, I hadn’t seen the other girls in a while. The boys had been so busy doing concerts and everything. Tay and I had missed having other girl company.
So when the doorbell rang, we jumped off the couch and raced down the hallway to answer it. We were hugging when the boys came down the hallway themselves.
“Um, pretty sure that’s my girlfriend,” Max laughed, pulling Michelle into a hug as Siva and Tom did the same with their girlfriends.
“Now I feel left out,” I pouted, looking at the happy couples. Jay laughed and held out his arms. I grinned and jumped into them, wrapping my legs around his waist. “We’re way cuter than all of you anyway.”
“Hells yeah we are,” Jay agreed, spinning me around. I could tell the others would be rolling their eyes at our stupid antics like they always did.
“To the lounge room good steed!” I yelled and he ran off, dropping onto the couch before flopping down beside me. The others came in and we put on a movie while Max called up to order Chinese. Classy, I know.
“Let’s watch a scary movie,” Kelsey suggested.
“No!” Tay and I protested at the same time.
“True, they’ll just scream the whole time,” Nathan laughed.
“We will not,” Tay defended.
“Then prove it,” Kelsey grinned, happy she was going to get her way. She got up and chose a movie, putting it on. It was called Wrong Turn, something about some people going camping. Seemed harmless enough.
“I hate you guys,” Taylah’s voice was muffled from the pillow she had her face buried in during the scariest parts.
Holy crap, they’re under the freaking bad guy’s bed. And he’s on it. I squeezed Jay’s hand even harder, probably breaking his fingers. Not my biggest concern right now. Someone’s head got chopped off and I screamed, turning my head into his shoulder to block out the screen.
“It’s alright,” he said into my ear. “It’s over, you can look up.” Looking up, I saw he was right and they were now just walking by themselves.
About ten minutes later, at the very end and the worst part of the movie, the doorbell rang and everyone jumped. Without pausing it, Max got up to go answer it, coming back with steaming food that he handed out just as it ended.
“Alright, which one next?”
