A/N: Hi everyone! I'm just going to say quickly that This first chapter is a bit slow and just shows exactly where this story begins in the Marvel Universe. It gets way better though! So I hope that you'll keep reading! I would also like to say that I do not own any of the MCU Characters or the story references from the Marvel movies, but the rest of the plot I do own.
Thanks! And I hope you enjoy the story!
(Peter's POV)
"Look at that." Stark said and I looked at the new suit he made me. "Look at me." I looked back at him. "Last chance yes or no?"
"No." I said, this was defiantly a test of my character.
"Alright, Happy will um give you a ride home." Stark responded looking a bit shocked. "How about you go wait in the car?"
I obeyed and began walking toward the massive glass door.
I walked a few more steps then turned around. "This was a test right?"
"Yes you passed."
"Alright thank you Mister Stark!" I replied as I began to walk toward the door once again.
"No, thank you Mr. Parker!"
I began sort of skipping towards the door. I opened the massive door and walked outside and as the door began to close I heard Happy say, "I told you he was a good kid."
This surprised me cause I thought Happy hated me. I tried to see if I could hear the rest of their conversation as I kept walking and wasn't really paying attention to what I was doing. I round the corner to the car when this girl came out of nowhere and we collided really hard. She tripped so my spider reflexives kicked in and I caught her I caught before she hit the ground.
"Thanks." She said springing up so fast I still didn't even know what she looked like.
"I'm so sorry I was running and the corner and wasn't looking where I was going, I should've been more carful, I'm really sorry!" "Sorry I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing, totally my fault." We both were rambling at the same time.
I finally saw her and realized that it was Veronica Stark. Holy crap! It was Veronica Stark! I had been so focused on working for Stark that I hadn't even thought about the fact that I might actually meet her some day.
I stood in shock and realized I'd been standing there silently long enough for it to be awkward.
"No I'm sorry, it was my fault I'm so clumsy." I finally say breaking the silence.
"How bought we just say it's both of our faults?" She giggled.
Her laugh was so cute.
"Well, I got to get going. I've got finish unpacking before dinner. My dad hates it when my room isn't put together. He always gives me exactly 48 hours to completely unpack my stuff when we move." She said laughing.
"Ya, I um I g-gotta get going too." I said.
She smiled, that beautiful smile that every high school boy in America had a crush on.
"Oh, I-I'm Peter by the way." I said extending my hand.
She shook it and said, "I know." She smiled playfully. She really was as nice as she seemed on TV. That's why everyone likes her so much, because she actually a genuinely nice person.
"Well, see you around Spiderboy." she said over her shoulder as she began to walk away. I hate when people mistake me for Spiderboy instead of Spiderman, but I knew she was joking and besides I certainly was not going to correct Veronica Stark!
I watched her run up the stairs, and into the building. I was still in shock. It was then that Happy rounded the corner and said, "Why the hell are you smiling like a little kid on Christmas morning?"
I hadn't even realized I was smiling till he said it. I blushed and got in the car. "Oh no reason."
Happy looked at me, then looked the direction I was staring and saw Veronica through the glass. He rolled his eyes but said nothing and he drove me home.
