(Veronica's POV)

"See ya later Spiderboy." I said mockingly as I walked away from Peter Parker.

He was cute. But I already knew that from the pictures dad showed me of his 'newest recruit'. Meeting him made my day. I've been dying to meet the newest technical Avenger since Dad and Steve were battling it out. Thank god they made up! I don't know what I would do without Steve or his waffle making skills.

When I walked in Dad called me over. "Veronica, sweet pea. Will you come over here?" I obeyed and ran over to him.

"I'm sorry. I know, I know. I should be unpacking, but I needed a break and really wanted to check this place out." I said sarcastically knowing he wouldn't care.

We both laughed. "Oh Veronica, I don't care about that."

"I know. So what's up?"

"Honey we had a last minute change of plan on the announcement, and well I need you to help us with our new one."

"Ok sure. What is it?"

"You'll find out when we get in there."

We walked into the press room blew up with questions. We walked to the front of the room where my dad calmed them down.

"Ladies and Gentlemen of America! I have very exciting news that I would like to share with all of you today. My daughter, Veronica Stark will finally be attending an actual school, instead of continuing her homeschooling."

"Where will she be attending school?" I reporter shouted.

"We would like to keep that quiet as much as possible though no doubt it will be announced the second she walks into her new school, but we are hoping to keep her life private as usual and I ask for your help with not harassing her while she's at school or anywhere else.

I was in shock. My dad was finally letting me go to school. I didn't listen to the rest of the meeting because I couldn't stop wondering what the school was like who my friends would be, what sports I would play, and if I would actually like it.

When the meeting was over I ran up to Natasha's room. I burst in squealing.

"Oh my god. What is going on with you?" she asked.

"Natasha! Dad's finally letting me go to an actual school instead of being homeschooled!" I shrieked in excitement.

"Are you serious?! Veronica that's amazing!" She came over and gave me a hug.

Natasha and I have been trying to convince my dad to let me go to an actual school for my whole life, and now it was finally happening. It was a little late considering I was already a sophomore in high school, but still!

Dad walked in plugging his ears to protect himself from our screams of excitement. Well my screams of excitement.

"I take it your happy with this news?" He asked.

"OH MY GOD! Am I happy with the news!" I said while bouncing around. I get very fidgety when I'm excited. "What school am I going too?"

"Midtown High School in Queens. It's a very good school, but were still working out the details, so it's be a few more days till you get to go." He said with a huge smile.

I couldn't believe it I was actually going to go to school. I almost died of happiness right then and there.

(Meanwhile... Peter's POV)

Happy dropped me at home, and I ran upstairs to May and my apartment.

"May, I have so much to tell you!" I yelled out. I couldn't wait to tell her that I got to internship back and that I meant Veronica Stark!

"Just a minute, I'm busy but oh someone left a package for you." She yelled from her office.

I walked into my room and saw a bag lying there with a note from Tony Stark. It was my suit! He gave me my suit back. I quickly put it on eager to wear it again. Right as I was about to put on the mask Ned started to call me.

I answered and was met with frantic screams that made no sense. "I canthbr sheeeees goooonnahhh goofdsnv to schotrg in New Torkmekwnf!" I held the phone away from my ear protecting my hearing from his shrieks.

"Dude chill. Breath then tell me."

I heard him taking some deep breaths.

"Peter! Veronica Stark is going to come to our school!"

"What!!?"

"Ya it's on the news!"

I quickly looked it up and found the news about Veronica going to school. But it didn't say she was going to our school.

"It doesn't say anything about her coming to our school, she's just going to a school."

"Ya but I can feel that she's coming to our school! I can feel it in my bones!"

"Ya right dude, don't get your hopes up."

I knew he would anyways though.

"Oh, by the way, I met her today?"

"Who?"

"Veronica Stark, that's who!" I responded getting excited.

Ned screamed and then I told him every little detail.

Finally after hours of describing every little detail three times to Ned I hung up and did my homework. May made dinner and I told her everything that happened today to, then I went to bed. As I was beginning to fall asleep I couldn't stop imagining Veronica and her cute smile and our short meeting today. Most of all, I couldn't stop wishing that Ned's bones were right and that she was going to come the Midtown High School.
