Chapter 2: Forming An Contract

"Look like this is the place where it resides..." Death, who is now currently 5 years old, said as he walks towards the abandon ruin that lies in front of him. "Wait up Death! Don't leave me behind..." Nagisa, who is the same age as Death, said as she run up towards him. Death glance at her and let out a sigh.

"Let go in." Death said as he walks towards the entrance. "Eh? Are you sure about it Death? I mean what make you so interested in this place all of the sudden?" Nagisa ask as she walk beside him.

"Well, a few night ago, I read a book about the 'Calamity Revival' which happen in this world about 35 years ago. It said that this world during that year, was been invaded by powerful demons and monsters which cause an all-out war to break out between the two section of the race, The dark race and the light race. Of course, if you did your study, you would know what the two races are consist of right?" Death said as he glace at Nagisa as she nodded back.

"The dark race consists of demon, monsters, undead etc basically hold the power of evil while the light race consist of human, beast-kin, dragon, elf, dwarf basically have the heart of the pure etc. After a long battle of day and night, the war ended with the light race wining them. Thou with that said, another war has started among the light race which dated back 15 years ago... how ironic is that." Nagisa said as she remembers reading on the book where it stated that human have been slaying and selling other race as slave, business and many more.

"Well there is that, but that not the point I am trying to say. During the 'Calamity Revival', there is a powerful demon being that said to almost bring the race to their demise. It is known as Dragon that destroy dimension of time and space, Origin. Rather that I think that is the name that it was been given." Death said as he kicks down a rusty door in front of him as they proceed to another section of the ruin.

"Wasn't it a demon dragon?" Nagisa said as Death nodded and explain that it is still sort of a demon and it is also a dragon after all so it really does not matter that much. "So, what about it?" Nagisa ask as she could not figure out what Death was currently thinking.

"Apparently that dragon was been seal up in here and it have taken a form of a kind of sword and you can apparently make a contract with it. I was planning to do that." You said as you open a small chamber where a sword can be seen been bind up in chain resting in the middle of a summoning circle.

"You can't be serious right? You do know that the sword is a demon sword, right? One wrong move and you will be killed!" Nagisa said with anger which can been heard from her voice. Death ignore her and approaches it. "Oi Death! Are you even listening to me or rather are you still sane?" Nagisa shouted at him in anger.

Death turn around and look at her with a serious expression. "Don't underestimate me Nagisa! You clearly know me well even before we were being reborn in this world... Plus, you have already master your magic, don't you? If anything goes wrong, you can stop me with it... Well more like kill me with it." Death said as he turns back and walk towards the sword as Nagisa could not help but let out a sigh in defeat hoping that he could come back in one piece.

Death examine the sword as he walks towards it in silence. "This sword...As I expected, I could feel a massive amount of power coming from it and not to mention this wicked aura it is giving off...no matter, I have come this far already...Here goes nothing." Death mumble under his breath as he reaches out for the sword.

As he grabs the sword and unseal the seal on it, a massive amount of dark aura could be seen emitting out of the sword and soon the sword flashes with a dark eerie light. The room then resume back it silence with only a huge figure standing before him.
