It's been fifteen years married to the love of my life. Filled with love and away from drama, oh and till this day we still pull pranks, never lost that.
"Where's Nina?" Elijah asked.
"Where else, she's at James house."
"She grew up so fast."
"She did." I sighed. "And she's gonna leave for college soon." Our Nina grew up so fast.

"James, stop being a tool, the man wasn't flirting with me."
"Yes he was."
"You're mpossible, and even if he was, I wasn't even paying attention to him, but maybe I will go there and flirt back." I said before slamming the door and left. He just sighed.
I went home and slammed the door.
"Ugh, ugh, ugh." I collapsed on the couch.
"Problem in paradise?" Dad asked.
"James is a tool."
"What did he do?" Mom asked.
I explained to them what happened at the grocery store.
"He's a tool." Dad shrugged.
"Why can't he trust me."
"Every relationship have it's bumps, there's no such thing as a perfect relationship, but when the love is strong things work out, you'll see." Mom said while hugging me.

"It wasn't always like this, we hated each other at first." He
"Yeah, your dad was a tool, still is."
"Hey!"
"I love you." She grinned dad just gave her a look, gotta love them.
"People gave us hate cause our parents got married, I broke up with him, we would get mad at each other." Mom said.
"But I love your mom too much, so I let her cool and then talked to her. He will come around." He said.
"I hope so, because I love that tool a lot." I sighed as they both chuckled.
Next day I woke up did my morning routine and went for breakfast as I made my way to the kitchen I saw James holding some orchids, cookies and a Balloon that said, I'm sorry for being a tool. A smile formed on my lips, I walked towards to where he was.
"I'm sorry, it's just I love you so much, and the thought of someone else having you kills me."
"James I'm with you, you have my heart, I don't even pay attention to other guys cause they're irrelevant."
"Forgive me?"
"Yes, you tool." He pulled me into a sweet kiss, I love this man.
"Can't wait for college and live together. tomorrow I'm going to check the place." He said.
"Can't wait." I smiled.
Next day James came here again. we talked a little then he went to check the place, he called me and everything was perfect, said we were gonna celebrate at night.
Except we never got the chance to celebrate, I got a call from his mother and everything went down hill for me. I rushed to the hospital with my parents and they said James was no longer with us, truck driver hit him so hard.
"No, please tell me this is a nightmare, one that I will wake up and James will be there holding me, I can't lose him."
"I CAN'T LOSE HIM, HE CAN'T BE GONE, JAMES." I screamed as tears were falling. My parents hugged me, I was shaking, I felt like my heart was gonna pop out.
I went to the room where he was and hugged him, I said my goodbyes, it was so hard to let go of him. I came out of the room shaking.
"Why him, he was a good person, we were gonna be together forever." Those were my last words before I passed out.
I woke up in my bed with two little arms wrapped around me. "I love you, sissy."

"I love you more." I hugged her.
"Nana and grandpa gave me cookies." She giggled.
"Did you bring me cookies?"
"Yes, a box." She pinched my cheeks.
"Thank you." I hugged her, Ivy always makes sure I'm okay, hates it when I cry, makes her sad.
"You're crying."
"I just love you a lot." I whispered. She hugged me back.
"How are you feeling, princess?" Dad asked.
"Like I'm trapped in a nightmare and can't wake up."
"Ivy, your mom needs help in the kitchen, will you go help her?"
"Yes." She said while climbing down the bed and ran to the kitchen.
"Dad, why James? He was so excited for college, for us living together. Its not fair, life took him so soon." I broke down.
He wrapped his arms around me. "Time will heal your heart, hold onto those memories you have together."
"It hurts, dad." I cried in his arms. "How can a happy day turned into a nightmare. It's just not fair, he was the love of my life, I'll never love anyone again."
"You will, it's just gonna take you a while to open your heart, but life goes on, you're alive."
"I wont, cause then I would feel like I'm cheating on James, and I just can't do that." I sobbed. He didn't say anything, he just hugged me.

"Night, mommy."
"Night, baby girl." I gave her a kiss on her cheek.
I went to check on Nina, but she was already sleeping, I went to give her a kiss on her forehead.
I went to our room where Elijah was deep in thought. I wrapped my arms around him, he place his hands on mine.
"It hurts to see her like that." I said.
He turned around and caressed my face "I would react the same way if I were to lose you like that."
"Me too, life wouldn't be the same without you." I said as a few tears escaped. I was hurting seeing my baby girl in the state she was.
"I love you, Dani." He said as he wiped my tears.
"I love you too, Elijah." He pulled me into a passionate kiss.
I just hope Nina will get through this, I hate seeing her so broken, she's always been this chirpy person.
As for me, it was one hell of a ride, there were a few bumps on the road, but we got through it. Even though Elijah would drive me crazy, life wouldn't be the same without him. I love my tool.
