Hiccup p.o.v
Entering Hiccup hut, looking around there was tools, inventions all around, Interesting. Something else caught my attention, the dragon eye. Hiccup must have noticed, his face expression said it all, I couldn't help laughing a bit.
"If you're worried that I'm going to hand the dragon eye over to my father, don't count on it. As I said before, we don't have the best dad and daughter relationship," I said, fiddling around my side pouch, pulling out a dragon lense.
"Here," I said, tossing It to Hiccup, who caught it, surprised.
"How?" was all he could ask, holding the Lense up to the light, "Quite easy when your fathers not around a lot, when he is he ignores you almost every time," I said, falling short with my sentence, looking down.
"I'm sorry, are you okay?" Astrid asked, showing signs that she's starting to trust me a little.
"I'm fine, nothing I'm not used to already," I said, smiling through to reassure them I'm really fine, even though I'm not really okay. It kind of hurts to not have any love from your father for 10 years, but that's my problem not theirs. I'll be fine, at least that's what I keep telling myself, over and over again.
