Me and my brother landed at kylie's hut, been a while since we seen her. Dagger was excited to tell her the news of us rebuilding our tribe. Strange she's not here, probably our flying somewhere.

"Would you not go through her things," I snapped at my brother, who dropped what he had in his hand. I heard something from her balcony, dragons.

"I'll be quick," Kylie said, entering her hut with a dishearten expression on her face, uh-oh something happened. "Dagger, Heather what are you two doing here?" she asked, surprised.

"Are you alright?" Dagger asks, with concern, beating me before I could ask. Putting on a smile, "Yeah, I-I'm going to stay at the dragon edge with the dragon riders for a while," she responded, packing somethings, clothes, her herbal medicine stuff, other things.

"You need a hug," my brother said, hugging her from behind. something shifted in her, normally she would push him off her, instead she broke down to tears falling to the floor. Without hesitation, I hugged her from the front, "Hey, is everything okay?" I asked her.

"No, not really," she said. "I lost my mom, and I think I just lost my dad by not choosing family," I saw her usually brave facade crumble, and it broke me to see her so devastated.

"I'll explain later," Astrid said, from the doorway of the balcony, I nodded in understanding. Giving my brother a look, he understood, "seems you need some good new, dagger here has something he wants to tell you," I said, helping her up.

She wiped away her tears, "Guess some good new would help," she said, grabbing her mothers journal from her desk. "Good, because he has been dying in excitement to tell you," I said, making her smile.

"We rebuilded our tribe," my brother said in excitement, jumping up and down. "Wait, really. Congrats both of you," she said, getting crushed into a hug by my brother.

"Not to tight, from the looks of it, she's been through a lot today," I said, pulling him off of her. She was laughing, guess all she needed was some good news, after all.

"We should head back to the edge," Hiccup said, good idea. Me and my brother tagged along with them. Landing at the edge, Astrid explained to me what happened, she was observing the whole situation from the sky.

"I seen her at her strongest, but I have never seen her like that before, it broke me," I said, feeling bad for her after hearing what she just went through.

"When you're feeling better, you need to come and visit sometime," Dagger kept bugging Kylie, she attempted to walk away, but he just followed. He knows what's he doing, cheering her up the best way he knows- non-stop annoyance.

"I better get heading out after I track my brother down," I said, about to go look for him. "I'm okay, now let go before you leave with a bloody nose," Kylie threated my brother. Laughing I dragged my brother off of her, she'll be okay, she's a survivor.

"we'll come back and visit when your actually okay, not just pretending you're okay," I said, saying our goodbyes, heading out.

"Will she really be, okay?" Dagger asked, still concerned for her, honestly, I was too. "Yes, she will be okay, after all she's a survivor," I said, smiling. Stay safe, Kylie.
