            I woke up and got dressed before heading out to retrieve my dragon from her stable. However, I was not surprised to find her guarding my door. I questioned the need for a stable as I went back inside to put my hair in a ponytail. 

       While grabbing a bucket of fish from my balcony, I noticed some dragon riders flying by. 

        "I can't believe it," I whispered in disbelief. My hands shook as I accidentally dropped the bucket of fish in a moment of panic. Without hesitation, I rushed inside to retrieve my bow and arrow, which was coated with a non-lethal poison I had concocted using my father's dragon poison.

         I didn't want to harm the dragons, just slow them down. Better than them ending up in my father's hands. Upon returning to my balcony, I used my trusty telescope to observe the dragon riders and was amazed to see a Night Fury dragon amongst them.

        I pulled back my arrow and attempted to miss to get them away before my father see's them but, accidentally hit a Deadly Nadder. It fell into the ocean, and I was filled with regret. 

     I quickly checked my telescope and saw that the other dragon riders had come to help the injured dragon and its rider. I watched them leave, relieved that they were okay. I put the fish back in the bucket and took it to Spitfire, my dragon.

      I debated whether to tell my dad what had happened, but I knew he would only be angry and try to hunt down the dragons.
