The following day, Astrid, Fishlegs, Hiccup, and I gathered in the same room as the previous day to review the map. Suddenly, the twins burst in with news of hunter ships near an island just a few meters away. I promptly indicated the location on the map and showed it to them.

"Yes, that spot," Ruffnut exclaimed, capturing Hiccup's attention. Hiccup promptly addressed Astrid, who quickly understood the situation and rushed out. Hiccup then turned to me and suggested, "Are you joining us? We could use the element of surprise."

"Sure, but the 'element of surprise' can only work once. Do you understand that?" I asked, hoping for clarity. "We'll go for it," he replied as we joined the rest of the group.

Before I knew it, we were soaring toward my father's vessel. I was lost in contemplation when a sudden hiccup interrupted my thoughts and called out my name. Startled, I quickly refocused and heard the request, "Can you create a diversion?"

"I understand, but this will only be a one-time occurrence. After today, my father will realize that I have never been on his side," I explained. "Understood," he replied. As I landed on my father's ship, I signaled for Spitfire to fly away, anticipating my father's anger.

"Where have you been?" my father asked, clearly upset. "Spitfire and I went for a fly, lost track of time, and camped on an island to rest," I explained. However, my excuse did not appease him.

Hiccup, I can only distract him for a short time, "I was worried," he replied, but I couldn't believe it.

"you're concerned. You're hardly ever around, and you're  worrying," I expressed with frustration as he spoke. Suddenly, an explosion and two ships were sinking, grabbing my father's attention. It was my signal to act. I silently called for Spitfire, and as my father turned back around, he immediately understood the gravity of the situation from the expression on my face.

"I might have stayed if you were a better father," I said as I flew away to join the other riders without turning back.

Hiccup made a valid point that I couldn't go back now. I asked if it was okay to stick around a bit longer, and Hiccup offered an even better option - to join them. Would that be possible?

As I witnessed Spitfire joyfully interacting with other dragons, I couldn't help but consider how much fun it must be. "Sure, that sounds like a great idea," I responded, acknowledging the benefit of giving Spitfire some playmates.

"I need to grab some items from my hut. Plus, my dad is preoccupied, making now a favorable moment to leave," I explained. Hiccup nodded in agreement, and we set off toward the hut.
