After helping with the cleanup, Astrid and I made our way back to her hut. Spitfire, who had just finished her fish, tagged along behind us. "I'm fine, you can go. I know you want to play with the other dragons," I told her, noticing her eagerness to join them.
she gave in and went back to playing with the other dragons for a bit.
As we stepped into her humble abode, I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of exhaustion wash over me. "After tonight, you'll be our official chef," she quipped, settling on the floor. "Even the dragons couldn't resist your grilled fish." I nodded in agreement, my tiredness evident in my voice.
"Let's rest up," Astrid suggested, and I readily obliged, letting sleep take over.
