The Trickster

"Sooooo, how was last night?" Luna said slyly wiggling her eyebrows at me. She may not be the best with boys, but she's learning with Neville and she knows her best friend.

"Oooooohhh, are we talking about boys???" Said Ginny as she slid onto the bench next to Luna and I.

"Well I couldn't help but notice, Elly disappeared before the dance was over, with that Weasley boy, your brother, Ginny." Luna said dreamily, looking up at the powder blue sky.

"Oooh, disappeared have we???" Said Ginny, looking at me mischievously and wiggling her eyebrows, "I want all the details!!!"

"GINNY!!!", I screamed, hitting her on the shoulder with the book I was holding, "and anyways, it wasn't like that." Luna looked at me with her eyebrows raised. "Okay, okay, but it wasn't like what you two are thinking..." I said slowly. "Just don't have a heart attack."

"Okay, okay!!! SPILL!!!"

"So, well, we left at around 10:00, then went to the astronomy tower-" "ooooohh" I was interrupted by Ginny, "and he had set out a picnic for us" I continued, rolling my eyes at Ginny, but was interrupted by Luna this time, "That was nice of him." "and we kissed and fell asleep, that's it." I said, trying to end the conversation. Ginny however gave me a skeptical look. "Ginny, if you want to know all the details, ask your brother." I said getting up and shaking my head at her.

"You know, mabey I will." She said matter of factly, winking at me. "Luna, I'll see you at supper" I said laughing and walked away.

"Hey there lovely" I heard a familiar voice say as I was whipped into a corner. "George!!!" I said laughing as I playfully hit him. But before I could scold him more, he pulled me into a warm kiss, snaking his hands around my waist and me standing on my tiptoes.

"You better find a better place to snog than this, or more people may find you." We sprung apart as Fred came around the corner.

"And what is it that you need brother dear?" George said confidently as he put an arm around my waist and rested a hand on my hip.

"Well actually, I was looking for Liz-Elizabeth but it seems that she's busy, so I'm just gonna go..." Fred said akwardly as he stuck his hands in his pockets and rocked back and forth on his heels, looking down.

"It's fine, what did you need?" I said in the sweetest voice I could muster while leaning into George and taking in his scent of cinnamon and parchment.

"I umm, could I umm, well talk to you alone, just for a second?" Fred muttered aimlessly to the floor, which now seemed quite interesting. He finally glanced up at George and I, and put a hand on the back of his head nervously.

"That's fine, I'll see you later George." I said, smiling reassuringly at my boyfriend.

"Oh, alright, but have her back by 7." George said jokingly and winked at us before walking down the hall lankily with his hands in his pockets.

"Soooo?", I said akwardly after George left.

"Ummm, well, I wanted to apologise for how I treated you, it wasn't right to lead you on and then just ask out someone different, I'm really sorry Elizabeth and you looked brilliant last night... by the way..." Fred said confidently as he stared at a point over my head.

"It's Lizzy to you, and you better make sure George doesn't hear you hitting on his girlfriend." I said grinning at him, "but if I EVER, EVER, find out you did that to a girl again Fredrick Weasley, you have my word that I'll hex you into another universe."

"Oh alright." He said smirking, "shall we go to dinner?"

"I think we should, but I'm going to find George first, I think he wanted to talk about something."

"Okay, so you guys are official now?" George said slowing his place so I could catch up with him on my short legs.

"I would hope so, I don't think he would want to snog just anybody." I said walking towards the Gryffindor common room.

I laughed as I walked into the common room and saw Ginny talking to George. She looked over me and wiggled her eyebrows, meaning she was probably talking about the previous night. She is a relentless child.

"And just what might you two be talking about?" I said sliding into the bench next to George.

"Oh, nothing, just what a heated night you guys had last night." Ginny said grinning. I saw George smirk in my prefreals as I felt a small blush spread across my cheeks.

"I'm gonna get you Ginny." George said matter of factly.

"And if you try that I'll hex you, need I remind you what happened last time I hexed you?"

"Need I remind you that you're talking to the best trickster in the world?" George said mocking his little sister.

"Touché", Ginny said as she walked out of the room.

"So what'd you want to talk to me about?"

"Oh, nothing, just wanted to suprise you." I raised a skeptical eyebrow at him. "and wanted to see if you wanted to go to hogsmade tomorrow." I looked at him even more skeptically now.

"Hogsmade isn't until next week though." I said eyeing him questioningly.

"Well, I know a few ways to get there and wanted to take you out." He said grinning and putting a hand on my knee.

"As long as it doesn't get us expelled, I'm all for it." I said smiling up at him and leaning on his shoulder warmly. After a few minutes we decided to head down to supper, and went to bed with the promise of meeting him at seven in the morning in the common room.

I know promised a Nuna fic next but it may or may not turn into a Draco fic. But fear not, either way, Nuna is happening. As revealed in this chapter, I love that ship a little too much, but you can never love a ship too much right?😉😊
