I finally wiggled out of George's arms at six in the morning, giving up on sleep and pulling on some jeans and sweatshirt with a beanie after kissing him on the forehead and leaving a note.

"'Lizbeth?" I heard him mutter, sitting up slowly in the four poster bed we had occupied for the past couple months.

"It's alright, Georgie, I'm just going on a walk." I said, standing in the open door of our room and smiling faintly at the ruffled haired boy that wore a concerned face barely noticable in the dim light of the morning.

"Do you want me to come with you?" He asked in rough voice that I found sweet but sexy at the same time.

"No, no, it's fine, you can go back to sleep." I replied, and he nodded slowly, laying back down in bed and falling asleep. I sat there for a moment longer, cause goodness he looked so peaceful when he was sleeping, like nothing could touch him. I turned and walked out of the room, pulling the hoodie closer to me and making sure I still had my wand. I made my way down to the kitchen, expecting it to be empty, but instead finding my father, looking like he had got absolutely no sleep in the last week. "Hey." I said hoarsly, and he looked up from his mug, putting on a fake smile.

"Why are you up so early?" He asked, stitching his eyebrows together.

"Couldn't sleep, why are you up so early?" I asked right back, moving to get a cup for hot chocolate, and grabbing a peice of a pastry on the way.

"Full moon." was all he said, and I understood completely. Remus was still out somewhere, and Sirius was waiting for him. I nodded and went on making the cocoa. I grabbed the cup a second later and walked out the door and down the street. I walked in silence, keeping my eyes peeled for Lupin.

I turned back without sight of him, hoping he would be back when I got home. I got back without any sign of my godfather, and walked upstairs quietly to wake my sleeping boyfriend. "Hey, Georgie, wake up." I said softly, shaking him lightly while standing over him. "mmmmm." he grumbled.

"What was that?" I asked sarcastically. He didn't reply, just wrapped both arms around my waist and slung me into the warm bed with him and started laughing. I kissed him softly and nestled into his neck for a bit, then pulled myself back to reality. "Come on, we got to get up, we're going back to school." I said, sitting up slightly.

"Okay, okay." he said, getting up and walking out of the room. I stayed behind a minute before going downstairs, making sure we both had everything and levitating our things to the front door.

At last we were all packed, and as everyone went to the front door, I stayed behind in the kitchen, barely able to hold back tears. Even though Hogwarts was the safest place to be, I was still worried sick of what's to come. Voldemort was back, he almost killed my brother, and did kill Cedric. My dad walked around the corner and saw me standing there, and that's when I gave in and let the warm tears roll down my cheeks softly. Sirius wrapped me in a warm hug, then cupped my face in his palms, looked into my eyes and said, "Be strong my lily flower, I love you." I nodded my head slowly, and let the sobs start rolling in. When finally the sobbing stopped, I bid my father farewell and told him I loved him, then told Lupin to take care of him when I was gone, cause I knew they both needed each other to survive, to keep each other sane.

When we were finally on the train, I rested my head on George's shoulder, and let weeks of sleepless nights take me. "Liz, wake up, Liz." I was shaken awake by George's warm hand a few hours later and I sat up instantly, thinking it was time to get off the train, but we were still moving.

"W-what's wrong?" I asked groggily, sitting up fully and looking around the train compartment. It was empty except for George and I, and I looked up at him questioningly.

"They went to change into their robes." George replied, looking at me with a worried expression. "You were crying in your sleep, I thought you were having a nightmare." he said, reaching wiping my face with his thumb, that came back smeared with my mascara.

"Oh," I said, knitting my eyebrows together and trying to remember what the dream had been about. "I-I don't know what the dream was about..."

"Sometimes that can be a good thing. Then you don't have to relive what made the dream bad in the first place." George said, slowly rubbing circles on my back.

"You always know what to say." I replied, and reached up, pecking him on the lips. "Oh, I'm sorry." Luna said, walking in the compartment and stopping in the doorway. "Should I come back?" she asked in her light airy voice.

"No, Luna, it's fine." I replied, straightening back up as Neville walked in to sit next to his girlfriend, closely followed by Fred.

We all sat in the Great Hall after the sorting ceremony anxiously waiting for Dumbledore to give his speech so we could all eat. A new teacher sat at the teachers table, clad in all pink and wearing a distinctly smug smile. She interrupted Dumbledore, which would be a first, so either I'm going to hate her or, no, she seems like someone I wouldn't like, especially after she almost got my brother expelled.

the next week

She turned out to be a horrible teacher, teaching only ministry works, and brutally punishing anyone who stood in her way. We had started a club called the D.A. and it was in full swing. We learned to conjure patronuses, mine was a stallion, strong and fast. But slowly, Umbridge found out about our club, and had us all writing in blood quills, as well as taking over almost the whole school. I could tell George was getting fed up, and he almost lost it one day when she gave me a detention for sticking up for the Weasley's, though it wasn't the worst she's done. She's made fun of my father, made fun of the fact I don't know who my mother is, my brother, and how dishonorable it is that I'm dating a blood traitor. It's almost scary how much she knew about me, then again, she worked at the Ministry.

Winter break finally came along, and we all went to the burrow, temporarily forgetting about Umbridge and her horrible ways. Till we came back, of course, that's when everything went downhill.

Hope you all enjoyed!!!
