I woke up at 2 am to a cold bed and the sound of rustling downstairs. I walked downstairs to find George making a sandwich, Bill perched lazily on the counter next to him.

"What are you guys doing exactly?" I asked, pulling the sweater I was wearing closer to my body.

Bill shrugged, "Makin sandwiches."

I rolled my eyes at him, "Wow Bill, that shed so much light on the situation." George finished and handed the sandwich to Bill.

"Sandwich?" he asked and I nodded, he started pulling out ingredients, knowing that I would want a peanut butter sandwich, heavy peanut butter, no jelly. I nodded at Bill, who reached down wordlessly and handed me the open milk jug and a glass. George turned around and handed me the sandwich, taking a bite out of it first, then hopping up on the counter next to me.

"Why are you guys awake, right now exactly?" I asked, handing the glass wordlessly to George, he took a swig then set it down, reaching for the half eaten sandwich in my hand.

"We're not supposed to tell you." he said simply, and I pulled the food out of his reach.

"Then I guess I'll have to finish this sandwich all by myself." Bill sighed from across the room, shaking his head at the look his brother shot at him.

"Your wife, George, I'm not getting into this." George drew in a big breath, then let it out, surveying his options.

"We're going to rescue Harry, but" he said, putting a finger over my mouth before I could continue. "You're not allowed to come." I pursed my lips, wanting to yell, to scream at whoever made this decision. "He's after you too, Elizabeth, just not as much as Harry, and so is Bellatrix, so no, you can't come, and no, there's no negotiating." I sighed, deflated, and took another angry bite of the sandwich before thrusting it at George, then storming up the stairs angrily.

I gave George a kiss as he set off with the others to retrieve my brother, I had to stay, much to my displeasure, so I stress cleaned, then, when everything that could be cleaned was, I went outside on a walk. I walked to the place where George and I had gotten married, and sat down, heaving a breath and gazing up at the stars, finding the constellations. I saw a light explode down by the burrow and took off, running hard and fast, I threw open the front door to find George on the couch with blood dripping down his chin and on to his heaving chest.

"George?" Mrs. Weasley turned around and Ginny put a hand on my elbow, making sure I didn't collapse. I crossed the room in three big steps, dropping down by the couch and taking his bloody face in my hands. "George? George, wake up, please, wake up, George?" his eyelids fluttered open and he reached up, swiping a thumb over my cheek, wiping away tears I didn't even know were there. I smiled and leaned down, kissing his lips gently, as another light grew outside. Fred came busting in and dropped down next to me, I put a comforting hand on his arm as his face grew contorted with worry at the sight of his twin covered in blood.

"Georgie, how you feeling?" he asked, his brows furrowed.

"Saint like." George replied, smirking.

"What?" I looked at him, trying to figure out what he was getting at when he let out a light laugh.

"Saintlike, holy, I'm holy Fred."

"Oh my god." I let out a laugh, resting my fore head lightly on the edge of Fred's shoulder.

"The whole world of ear related humor and you go for holey." Mrs. Weasley shook her head from behind her husband.

"I see how it is, I get all banged up and lose an ear and you go running to him." George said playfully, noticing my head on Fred's shoulder.
