The morning that the family was supposed to arrive I woke up warm and safe in Sebastian's bed. It came as no surprise to me as I had been sleeping there since the incident in my birthday. He smiled down at me nudging me awake softly as he ran his fingers through my hair.

I pulled the sleeves of my sleeping shirt over my hands and burrowed into the blankets not wanting to leave the warmth and comfort of the mattress. I peaked up at him begging him to go get some clothes for me so I could stay under the covers for a bit longer.

Of course he agreed bringing me back both a tee and jeans as well as a dress so that I could choose. Eventually I chose the dress figuring I could just wear the skinnys and Sleeping With Sirens shirt tomorrow. He went to change into one of his glitterless uniforms while I slipped into the dress.

I grabbed my latest read from his bedside table and padded down the stairs. I sat on the last step to wait for them to get back. Soon after I propped my book open on my knees, Sebastian brought me some tea. Thankfully the liquid fit my standards since I had informed him on how to do it the right way two days ago.

As we waited with him standing straight as an arrow beside me I began to read my novel out loud. He listened attentively like he had the first time he asked me to read one of my books to him. He stopped me, however, about an hour later when he heard the limo pull up in front of the house. I passed him my empty cup and my book before standing and making my way to open the front door.

I greeted them as if nothing had changed, and the three each took their turns hugging me. Though it was nice, I was sure now that Sebastian's were the best.

I spent the day telling the twins about some of my pranks and some of Sebastian's. Playing chess with Auntie. Helping Lizzy with some of her spring homework. I even played a bit of Mario Cart with Al. When the night came I crawled into Sebastian's bed while everyone slept claiming that we forgot to clean up the itching powder. I assume he chose not to remind me that we had washed my bed set earlier this week.
