The world of Ruxomar was quite unlike others. It had people, mages, and creatures of the night. What makes it stick out is the advancements in technology and magic it bares. Its history has been manipulated and changed, rewritten to appease the gods. The three gods grew up together, but two of the three couldn't be more different. They fought and argued until the two gods split ways, finding their own path apart.
Dianite, finding his place in the trade of precious ores, he worked with dwarves and became a celebrated merchant. His persuasive and businessman personality proved to be affected in the trade that aided in Ruxomar's economy.
Mianite took a dwelling in a mountain city that pierced the clouds. He ruled as a sovereign, offering protection to surrounding lands from the increasing population of dangerous monsters that threaten them. He offered it on the condition that all cities built a statue of him in his honor.
All the while, their sister, Ianite watched as her brothers established their own paths, but the fear in her blocked her from ever speaking up or trying to bring their broken family back together. She often looked over a port town, Dagrun, the town was small and simple, but the people were kind and greeted the goddess with open arms. Finding her life there, but good things don't last forever.
Assassinated, Dianite's death was one that shook Ruxomar. His assassin drape in a charcoal cloak, with an inhuman like speed, cut down the god. The news of his fall left his dwarf city vulnerable for the picking by his brother. Offering his protection from the monsters that turned their gaze to the dwarf city, the dwarves held no choice but to accept, Mianite realizing his long-held dream to form an empire with his control of above and below. Ianite fled, Dagrun turning their back to the once beloved goddess and turning to Mianite. Ianite went into hiding, never seen again as Mianite dug his claws into the once kindhearted port town. A priest telling of a prophecy of four heroes falling from the sky.
It was this history that was changed, to cover up the existence of a fourth god. Nor sibling to any of them, a once great friend to the three, Ruxomar bares no history of this unknown god, only the mummers that have yet to die. His existence is told only in whispers, Mianite's law denying the existence of another god other than himself led many to think the existence of a fourth god was only a rumor. But the rumor was in doubts by some when a prophecy by the same priest was told.
"The four that hail from above will be the heroes from the known unknown. A forgotten deity cloaked with gray and green. Brought together the shards, reviving what was taken from one only to lead them to known unknown. Only to be thrown into chaos as a friend followed the known unknown, turning their back to the ones who were their friends as the end comes with the final assembly of the staff."
Ignored. But should have never been ignored. It was this that may have doomed them all from the start.
