Lizzy made her way up the stairs to Newt's room carrying  a small bundle of fur. She knocked on Newt's door then entered. She was smiling and clearly excited.

"Oi, look what I found out by the garbage bins," Lizzy held up a small yellow furred puppy, with the sweetest blue eyes. "Isn't she beautiful?"

Newt sat up and looked at the puppy, "Hell Liz, she's adorable."

"Yeah, You like her?" Lizzy smiled.

Newt chuckled, "I love her."

Lizzy laughed, "I think that's the first and last time I'll hear you say you love a she,"

Newt sent a smile towards his sister. Her blonde hair in her usual braid draped around her shoulder, she was wearing jeans and her yellow crop tank top. Lizzy placed the small puppy on the ground and it ran around the room.

Newt smiled then remembered the puppy he had as a child.

My puppy ran around the yard, I smiled and chased him. My parent were sitting on the front porch watching me and the dog. My mum was pregnant with my sister at the time, and I was more than thrilled to be a big brother. I was a kid and I was running around the yard with my puppy. I didn't think anything of it, because I was a kid. I wish I hadn't been such a kid. I wasn't watching. My mother had to yell to me before I realized what was happening and my dad was able to grab me, but unfortunately he couldn't grab my pup before a car squished him like a bloody bug.

"I don't think we should keep it."

"But Newt-"

Newt screamed at his sister and it shocked her, Newt was a person who never yelled, "GET RID OF IT!"

Lizzy quickly picked the puppy off the ground and held it in her arms, "I'm sorry."

Lizzy looked at Newt tears flooding her eyes before she turned and rushed out of his room. Newt cried out then punched the wall. He didn't leave a hole in the wall, but he did leave a dent.

"Fuck." Newt cried to himself.

He took a deep breath and his phone beeped. He picked it up, it was and e-invite to a party at Zart Hansan's home.

Going? Maybe? Not going?

Newt didn't give it second thought, he pressed not going. He didn't want to go, he was not up to it.

Thomas still sat on his back porch as if he couldn't get enough of the fresh air. His phone buzzed and he quickly clicked not going on his e-invite to tonight's party. Thomas sighed. He just wanted to be alone. His dad beating on his mother in the kitchen, Thomas hated it, but as long as it wasn't him on the other end of the punches.

Thomas laid back and enjoyed the sound of the chirping birds and all of nature's peace.

The peace was wonderful and what made it blissful was the warm hand on my bare skin. The comfort on another human body. I touched the hands and they were soft and I loved them. I planted a kiss on one of them then looked at the owner of those hand. Newt Collins laid next to me smiling sweetly.

Then I woke up. Breathing heavily with sweat dripping down my face.

"What the hell is the matter with me?"

Teresa sat in her bed, her leg sitting in a stupid fat cast. She held a hand mirror up to her face.
