Millie

I woke up this morning with a fright, I had a terrible nightmare and barely got any sleep. I look to my side and notice I had overslept.

I quickly jumped out of bed and changed. I went into my bathroom and brushed my teeth and applied a small coat of mascara, since I had no time for more.

I walk downstairs to see my mother grabbing eggos out of the toaster. I walk towards the counter and greet her good morning.

"Good morning sweetie, how'd you sleep?" My mother greets me turning around handing me my plate with an eggo.

"Actually mom, I'm running a bit late today mom, can I take my eggo?" She nods and takes the plate.

I give her a small kiss on the cheek and grab my bag. I look at the time and see I have 8 minuets to get to school. I pick up my skateboard and quickly get to school.

I barely make it to school and rush to class, I take a seat in the front and wait for everyone else to come inside.

I see finn walk in and he smiles and waves, I wave back and motion him to take a seat in he empty desk next to me.

But before he gets there a boy sits and smirks at me. "Oh hey babe, I missed your face." Jacob says leaning in trying to kiss me. I quickly move so he kisses my cheek. He grabs my wrist and pulls it towards his face.

"Look princess if I want to kiss you, I kiss you, got it?" He says squeezing my wrist and slightly twisting it. My eyes began to water, I wanted to cry, but I couldn't let people think I'm weak so i kept quiet and held back the tears. I nod and quickly pull it back. He gets up and smashes his wet lips on mine and gets up to take a seat next to Maddie.

Finn immediately takes notice and sits next to me. "Are you okay, who is that?" Finn asks.

"Yeah that's jacob, he's m-my boy-boyfriend." I manage to let out.

"Him?, the one that is making out that girl?" Finn asks me pointing to the back of the room. I slowly look back and nod.

"Millie, he's cheating on you, and clearly he's abusive." Finn says seriously.

"I know, but I can't break up with him, I tried and he hurt me. I belong to him finn."

Finn looked shocked and upset. He looked angry. He clenched his fists and stood up.

"Finn."

I stood up and grabbed him by the shoulders he was glaring Jacob down. I cupped his face and made him look in my watery eyes.

"I'm okay." I say showing a small smile. He sits back down and we wait for the teacher to come back in and teach.

After a few of my classes it was lunch, I decided to skip lunch and eat in the janitors closet. I didn't want to face Jacob, hopefully he didn't find me here.

After a few minutes I hear someone unlock the door and walk inside I hide behind a shelf of cleaning products and a broom to cover my face. A boy walks in and sits down I look closely and notice it's finn.

"Finn?" I ask softly.

"Millie?"

"Yeah it's me." I say coming out. I sit down next to finn and he scoots to the side making more room.

"What are you doing in here?" Finn asks me pulling out his lunch.

" I could ask you the same, and I don't feel like seeing Jacob, he's getting out of hand."

Finn nods and we spend the rest of the lunch period in the janitors closet laughing our asses off about the most random things.
