Monday

Today was Monday, which meant it was time for me to go back to school. To be honest I was kind of scared. I mean the person who tried to kill me goes to my school.

And they're closer than you think.

I quickly got ready and texted Sadie to pick me up.  We used to go to school together but we kind of drifted apart so she stopped picking me up but I'm so glad we're close again. I really do love Sadie.

When we arrived at school, I saw finn and the boys gathered together talking.

I walked up to finn and gave him a peck on the cheek. He smiled and grabbed my hand.

"Morning, princess." He smiles.

I blush at his words and hide my tomato face.

"Mills, can I talk to you for a second?" Gaten asks.

"Uhm yeah sure." I reply letting go of Finns hand walking towards Gaten.

We both walk a little farther away from the others.

"You okay?" I ask

"Me? Mills, you're the one who got shot and the psycho is walking around school." Gaten says loudly.

I look around, thank god no one heard that.

"Gaten! Keep your voice down, someone can hear you!" I say covering his mouth.

"Wait a second."

"How'd you know the person who did this goes here?" I ask pulling my hand down.

"How do you know?" He questions me trying to change the subject.

"Not so fast, Gaten. Spill. Now." I demand

"Millie, I don't want you to freak out."

"Gaten, look, I already know who did it. But I need to know what you know." I say crossing my arms.

"Okay."

"About a week and a half ago, at school, I had left my lunch bag in Art, so I went to go get it after school. On the way, I heard two people talking in the hall. I pushed the thought away but it was really familiar and everyone had left already so I quietly followed the voices. It was Jacob and Iris."

*the day millie got shot*

I followed the voices tip toeing through the empty halls.

I heard footsteps approaching so I quickly hid behind a wall.

"Jacob, we need to do it tonight. She's going to rat you out for all of those 'rumors' . "

"I know, I know baby. She'll be gone soon." Jacob smirks wrapping his hands around her waist. Which turns out to a make out session between the two.
