I slowly wake up but everything is a blur. My head hurts a lot and I look around and see a bunch of people. I see a group of boys and a redheaded girl and two adults.

Where am I ?

"Excuse me nurse, where am I?" I ask the lady in front of me.

"Nurse? Hunny it's your mother." Mother? I've never met this lady before.

Another adult comes in and his name tag says "Dr. Brenner" .

"Dr. Brenner, why doesn't my daughter know who I am?" The lady asks.

"Mrs. Brown, Millie was shot pretty bad, thank god she survived, she had a very low chance."

A tall curly haired boy walks towards me and crouches down on his knees to meet my face. His eyes are red and puffy as if he was crying. "Mills, do you remember me?" He asks squeezing my hand a little.

I think hard and hard but I can't remember anything. The last thing I remember was dancing in the rain somewhere. "A-are you my brother?" I ask.

He looks down and his smile fades. "No, I-I'm your boyf-best friend. I'm your best friend." He tells me.

"Doctor how long will she be like this?" The redheaded girl asks.

"Well, we don't know that for sure, amnesia can last for a few days, weeks, possibly a year."

The curly haired boy let's go of my hand and walks out of the room slamming the door.

The redheaded girl walk towards me "millie, do you remember me? It's Sadie. Your best friend since we were 12. She says sniffling wiping her tears on her sweater.

I slowly shook my head. Why can't I remember anything. I feel so stupid! I don't even remember my family!

Finn

I slam my fists against the cold wall. This was not fair. Why god? Why millie?

Thoughts rushed through my head as I cried against the wall but something more important crossed my mind.

I rush back inside Millie's room "Doctor, can we talk for a moment?" I ask balling my fists. The doctor and I walk out in the hall and walk out to a garden.

"Who shot her?" I ask trying not to break anything around me.

"We still haven't found that out yet kid. I'm sorry." He walks back inside and I walk back after him.

I need to find out who hurt her.

I will find out.

A few days later later everyone went home, even Millie's parents. Gosh they never cared about her until she gets hurt. I stayed every day just Incase she'd regain memory. I didn't want her to remember everything and she's all alone in a hospital room.
