Friday

I woke up bright and early this morning, I cannot believe finn wolfhard aka my best friend asked me on a date. a date people!

I rolled out of bed and made my way to my closet, today was Friday which meant towards the end of the day the whole school would go into the gym and talk about how much we should " keep earth happy ! " by recycling and shit.

I threw on an oversized hoodie along with some leggings and called it a day.

I walked down the stairs to see my mom cheerful and singing to her very old yet classy music.

"How come you're in such a good mood today mom?" I ask sitting down in front of her at the counter.

She turns around and I see a huge purple mark along the sides of her face.

"Woah mom what happened?!"

"Oh it-it's nothing hunny, hurry now and eat you're going to be late for school." She says with a fake smile turning back to the stove cooking more eggs. I scoff and eat my toast.

"Morning Millie." My father says walking down the stairs towards my mother.

My father sneaks his arms around her and she flinches at his touch, it seemed weird. I mean I knew my parents fought and argued but my mother looked petrified.

I thought nothing of it and made my way to school.

"Hey cupcake" jacob says as he pushed me up against my locker.

"Don't 'hey cupcake' me Jacob, we're over!" I say pushing him off of me.

He grabs me by my neck and squeezed it "you will not leave me. Or else I'm going to have to show you a lesson." Jacob says dragging his fingers up with his free hand along my thigh.

I squeeze my eyes shut and hope someone will come rescue me and what do you know he comes.

"Get your filthy hands off of her you psycho bitch!" Finn yells jumping on him punching him repeatedly.

"Alright alright that's enough finn." A small boy says laughing pulling finn off of Jacob.

Finn comes to me and gives me hand lifting me off of the ground.

"Mills, this is Noah."

"Noah, this is Millie."

"Ah so this is the famous millie you're always taking about." Noah says shaking my hand.

"Uhhh um no no I don't !" Finn says with his face tomato red.

"Uh huh sure." Noah says rolling his eyes I chuckle.

"Well I'll see you later finnie." I say giving him a peck on his cheek walking off and waving at Noah.

I was chilling in my bed until I heard my doorbell ring, it must've been sadie.

"Sadie!" I yell pulling her in a hug.
