Imagine #9

You were just scrolling the Internet one day when your friend, Y/F/N messages you on Facebook. She said "Hey, Y/N. I just saw this thing from Big Hit and I thought you would be interested in it."

 "What is this about?" you ask her as you take a sip from your water bottle. 

"Well," she replies, "apparently this is some sort of singing contest that they've got going on. The best part about all of this is...the winner gets to sing with Jungkook on stage!" 

You automatically spit out your water as soon as you saw that. Jungkook has been your ultimate bias ever since BTS debuted in 2013, when you were almost done with middle school. "Really?!" you ask, completely in shock. "The winner gets to sing with THE Jeon Jungkook?! On stage?!"

 "Yeah!" said Y/F/N. "Are you gonna do it?" 

You reply "Is that even a question?! Of course I'm gonna do it! I would kill to sing with Jungkook!" After the two of you talk for a bit, you go to Big Hit's website to get more information on the contest. The rules said you should upload a video of yourself singing "Only Then" by Roy Kim and that it should be no longer than 1 minute and 30 seconds. The winner, just like your friend said, was going to be singing that exact song with Jungkook on stage during the Love Yourself Tour and was going to be announced in exactly one month from today via email. You thought "I have always dreamed of singing with Jungkook and this might actually be my one chance to do so!" With that said, you put the music on, started recording and sent it to Big Hit Entertainment.

One month later...

It has been exactly one whole month since you sent in your cover of Only Then and today was the day they announce the winner. You didn't want to get your hopes too high in case you didn't win but at the same time, you didn't want to lose. You log into your computer, check your email, and lo and behold, there was an email from Big Hit themselves! You click on it and it reads "Hello Y/N! We're emailing you to say congratulations! You are the winner of our contest! We will pay for you and one other person to fly to Seoul, South Korea on the night of August 24th to meet and sing with Jungkook on the Love Yourself Tour at the Olympic Stadium! Once again, congratulations and we will see you at the show!" As soon as you finished reading it, you screamed so loud that people could hear you from space. The first thing you did was message Y/F/N on Facebook and ask her to come over to your house. After 10 minutes, she walks through the door.

 "Y/N, I'm here!" she exclaimed. "I'm glad you could make it." you said. "I have some exciting news to share! I won the contest! I'm going to sing with Jungkook!" 

"Oh my gosh! Really?!" she asked. You nodded your head. " I'm so happy for you!" 

"Thank you!" you responded. "The best part of it, besides singing with Jungkook, is that I get to bring one other person with me. So, I want you to come with me." 

" I would love to!" your friend said. So the next month was spent packing your bags to fly to Seoul.

The day finally comes and you are nervous beyond belief. You have never been outside the U.S. before so you didn't know what to expect. Not only that, the only time you've seen Jungkook, as well as the other BTS members, was through your computer screen so seeing them in person was something that excited you. Once you landed in South Korea, you were just in awe of everything you saw from the restaurants to the stores. You just couldn't believe you were finally here. You make your way to the Olympic Stadium and when you walked in the building and went backstage, you saw all of the BTS members and their record producer looking right at you, making you slightly nervous. After a minute, their record producer speaks up. 

"You must be Y/N, the winner of our contest! It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Bang Si-hyuk, but you can just call me Mr. Bang." He then introduces you to the members of BTS one by one.
