Chapter six

----------------

I woke up finding my mum sitting on my bed.

"Morning honey,"

I smiled while squinting my eyes because of the light.

"Just informing you that Nancy will be back, be nice okay?"

Nancy?

Oh I remember her.

She is our house maid a couple years ago, but she stopped because she is old and she said she was 'tired'.

But here she is, coming back.

I nod at my mum and she leaves the room.

I sigh and checked the time.

Seven a.m.

I decided to just sleep in a little more, since it starts to pour outside.

******

I woke up with the sound of the thunder storming against my window.

I jumped and looked at the clock.

Eleven a.m.

Finally a good decent time to get up from bed.

I walked down the stairs step by step when I hear humming from the kitchen.

I step in the kitchen where I find Nancy's chubby back facing me.

I think she heard me because she turns around and let out a gasp.

"Oh my goodness! Emma! You've grown so much!"

She walks towards me and hug me tight.

I smiled and pat her back.

"Well enough with the hugging I'm going to make you a special breakfast alright my dear?" She pinched my cheek and walking to the kitchen counter.

I walk to the couch and plop my self between the pillows.

When suddenly I heard the bell rings on my door.

It is freaking pouring outside heavily and there are thunder storms.

What if it's a serial killer?

Yeah, like that would happen.

Nancy walks out from the kitchen hurriedly to the door.

Poor old lady.

She opens the door afterwards, and talks with who ever it is outside.

"Emma dear?"

She called from the door before I looked up at her.

I raised both of my eyebrows, looking at Nancy.

"Someone is here for you,"

I sigh and walk to the door, where I find Harry soaking wet on my doorstep.

He is shaking the water from his hair with his hand while grinning at me widely.

Nancy left us and came back with a paper and a pen.

I smiled thanking her and she continues to make breakfast.

Harry what are you doing here?

"I was jogging around before it starts pouring, and I was near your neighborhood so... Can I?"

He raised both of his eyebrows before I realized I was keeping him out here.

I'm sorry, come on in.

He steps inside, and I can tell he was freezing.

Hold on for a sec.

I gave the paper to Harry, and I ran upstairs, grabbing a towel.

I also turn up the thermostat, to make sure Harry is warm enough.

I ran back down, and Harry smiled at me.

"Thank you,"

He hand me the paper, and starts to dry him self.

You can go to the bathroom to dry yourself, just walk down there, first door on your right.

He nods and he makes his way.

"Breakfast is ready," Nancy sings from the kitchen.

I walked to the kitchen and start to eat my chocolate pancake, my favorite.

I have always loved Nancy.

She's been working for my family since I was two years old.

We would always play together every time I'm lonely.

She also teaches me more about English.

And I could always tell her anything.

But she didn't know about my depression.

I would rather keep the depression a secret from the lovely old lady.

She is fifty-five years old now, she's been working since she was thirty-eight, but like I said, she stopped a couple years ago.

I didn't know what she came back, though.

"Emma?"

Harry's voice shoots through my living room before I look up at Nancy and she nods.

"She's in here," Nancy replies.

Harry steps in the kitchen with the towel still on his hands.

"Hey," he greets me.

Nancy looks at Harry for a second before turning around to the kitchen counter.

I smiled at Harry and he sat next to me.

"Here you go my dear, you must feel cold,"

Nancy hand him a cup of hot tea while smiling.

"Thank you, umm?"

He stops awkwardly while looking at Nancy.

"It's Nancy," she smiles and Harry nods.

"Thank you Nancy," he smiles sweetly and carefully took a sip of the tea.

Why are you jogging at eleven o'clock?

He reads it and smiles.

"Well I've been jogging around at ten, so it's been an hour,"

Oh.

I nod.

*****

I have finished eating my cereal, and Harry has finished drinking his tea.

We are sitting down on the couch, watching a random television show.

"Hey do you want to play a game?"

I raise one of my eyebrows.

What game?

He smirks.

"Let's play twenty questions game,"
