When I sat down at our table next to Lexi she asked,

"Where were you?"

"A meeting with Sebi." I responded. As I said it he walks into the cafeteria and Jordan waves then he waves back.

"Oh okay. Jonathan was looking worried and was asking questions."

"Really?" I asked a little too hopefully.

"Don't sound so let down Vikki." Then she gives me a wink and I give her a little shove. We break out into giggles. Jonathan gives us a questioning look and we just sit and contain our laughter. When lunch is over, I take my tray to the lunch lady and start making my way to the hallway for English. I hear Jonathan behind me say,

"Hey Vikki wait up!" I turn around.

"Hey. What's up?" I say when he reaches over to me.

"Why were you and Sebi late for lunch." I really didn't want to tell him that we just had a conference abut HIM, but if I told him I just had a conference and not mention the subject, he might not be too nosey.

"I was having a conference with Sebi, we entered at different times so not too many questions would be asked."

"What was- never mind, it's none of my buisness. What class are you headed to?" I'm glad he was such a gentelman.

"English."

"Sweet that's mine too."

"Oh yeah, I think I saw you yesterday, I don't know though."

"Haha. Okay well let's go." Then we walk to English. I make a deal with the guy next to me that I'd give him my number because he had asked me out multiple times and I had said no. He gladly took the paper with my number on it, but gave Jonathan a jealous look. After he left, Jonathan and I looked at eachother and started sniggering. Then Mr. Blackberry came in and started to pass out Romeo and Juliet. Then he said,

"The person next to you will be your partner for this book." I looked up in shock, I was happy yes. But I could've sworn that I saw Jonathan looked at me and smiled from the corner of my eye.
