One of the reasons that explain why did I failed on my first attempts of writting the novel is because  I was too immature to make an outline of the story. The start was -almost- always the same, but in the middle of the story you'd notice the character's names are different from those ones at the beginning, 'cause I didn't even have that issue clear.

What about the context? the names of the characters must be according to a geographical location and time where / when actions develope, at least. It doesn't make sense if your name is Brigitte but you are a native habitant from Latin America. Also, the environment changed constantly: of course at physical places, but also in another kinds of themes; sometimes she was a rich girl, even she could be a princess, while in other times she was trying to survive in the middle of a war. But the most notorious aspect of this problem was clothing: Occasionally, I imagined the characters wearing clothes that present current european fashion, but in other moments, in my mind I dressed the main character with dresses worn by the young sultans during the Ottoman Empire.

Now I know I must to correct these mistakes, but I keep thinking and I feel like if to decide one option would mean to limit the story too much, more that it should.
