The next day I'm at an ice cream bar with my brother. I see Michael running and smile. When he sees me, he smiles, runs up to me, wrapping an arm around me, hugging me. "Haley! What's up buttercup?" he asked sitting down. "Having ice cream with my brother, you?" I asked smiling. "Looking for my sisters." he smiled and giggled. "That's nice." I said jokingly and giggled. "Suuuuuure." he said giggling. A few minutes later Michael left since he saw his sisters. "Wow. That's sad." Johnathan said. "My baby sister finding summer romance before me." He added and I laughed a bit. "That's because girls don't like you." I said getting up, tipping his hat in front of his face and running off to the direction where Michael went.

I soon find Michael in the shade by the public beach pool watching his sisters swim. I smile and walk over to him and sit down on the beach chair beside his. "Hey, handsome." I said smiling. Michael removed his shades and tipped up his hat a bit then smiled. "Hey, beautiful." I blushed. "Sorry to seem stalkerish." I said. He laughed softly. "No, you're not seeming like that." I giggled and layed down like he was and watched everyone. We talked and talked, learning more about each other, sharing stories and.m just everything you can think of.

That evening Michael and I walked around the beach for a while. "Hey, can I ask you something?" Michael asked. "Of course." I said looking down at the waves crashing along my feet. "Well...I-I was wondering...if you'd...you know...go out on a date with me tomorrow night?" he asked shyly. I blushed hard and smiled wide to myself. "Of course, Michael!" I said with excitement. He smiled wide and hugged me, I hugged him back but tight. "That's great! I'll pick you up at seven?" He asked and I nodded smiling. "That's perfect!"

He walked me back to the hotel room I was staying in and we said our goodbyes. I came in smiling and went over to my mom. "Can we go shopping for a dress tomorrow?" She looked over at me weirdly. "You? Wearing a dress?" I nodded smiling. "Well...I guess we can. Why, sweetie?" "I met this guy yesterday and he wants to take me to dinner tomorrow night." She smiled. "A guy? Just be safe tomorrow night with this guy, okay?" She said seriously. "I know, mom. I will. Besides, he's really sweet. Don't worry."
