Laying On The Beach

It was after we ate breakfast and got ready. "Hey, Haley. Get your bathing suit on. We're laying on the beach and playing in the ocean like, all day." Jonathan said coming to where I am. "Okay." I said and got my bathing suit.

Once we were all ready, we went down on the beach and found a good spot. Once we got settled we all layed on towels. "Hey, Kyle lets go play some football." Johnathan said getting the football. I sat up and checked my phone. I sighed a bit and went to text Michael but couldn't find words to say. "Hey. Meet me at the ice cream bar?" I texted and waited. I got so nervous. I don't know why. A few mintues later he texted back. "Sure thing. :)" I smiled a bit, got up and wrapped my towel around me. "I'm going to get some ice cream, I'll be back." I said to my parents and they nodded.

I got to the ice cream bar and saw Michael. "Hey, Haley." he smiled at me. "Hey, Mike." I smiled back. "Everything okay?" he asked as we sat down. "Mhm. Everything's fine. I just wanted to have ice cream." He nodded and smiled again which made me smile a little. "Which kind you want?" he asked getting money out. "Cookies and Cream. You're not paying either." I said watching him and got mine out. "Yes I am." he looked at me and I looked back. "No, Michael." "Yes, Haley." I could see that he could of done this all day. "No." "Yes." he started giggling which made me giggle. "Noo." everyone was looking at us like 'Just pay and shut up.' but I didn't care. "Uh, yes." he said as he laughed. "One Cookies and Cream and one Strawberry with Chocolate." Michael said quickly handing the money to the person who worked there. "Ugh, you're a butt." I said giggling. "I'm just being a gentleman, that's all." he said giggling also. We ate our ice cream and I had to leave. "I'll see you around, alright?" Mike said and I nodded. "But first, let me pay you back." "No, Haley. Don't worry about it." he said pushing the money away. "Take it." I said looking at him seriously holding back a smile. "Nope." he ran off. "You-! ugh!" I giggled. "Men." I threw my head back walking away.
