Elena's pov
"KAI, CYRA?!" I shouted as I ran upstairs. As I reached the top Kai and Cyra opened their bedroom doors and walked onto the landing.
"Mommy?" Kai looked at me his little face filled with worry. "Mommy are you ok?"
"I'm fine baby. Your great granddad is here"
"Great granddad Michael?!" Cyra shouted in glee.
"Yes and your great granddad Gabriel. I know you've never me him but please stay away from him. He's a very bad man. Do you want to go downstairs and see Great granddad Michael?"
"Yes!" They both shouted loudly. They ran past me and went downstairs. When I got downstairs Michael had Kai and Cyra in his arms. I also noticed that Gabriel was gone.
I walked up to Damon and he gently pulled me into an embrace. "Where's Gabriel?" I whispered.
"He left. He said that he'd see us all soon."
"He's not taking them Damon. I won't let him. No matter what I have to do, I'm not letting him take our children"
"And I will be right next to you every second. We will not let him take them. No matter what" he replied. He turned to Michael. "Michael. We need your help"
Michael looked at Damon and then at me. "I'm in. It's about time Gabriel was taught a lesson"
