Simon entered the werewolf den first, carrying the unconscious officer on his shoulder with ease, while trying to stay calm and collected. The werewolves present in the restaurant immediately stood up, their eyes glowing green and their fangs bared. They didn't like the vampire, even if he had a close connection with their alpha. Luke burst in a second later, in his arms a heavily injured and unconscious Nyx, who was bleeding immensely.

"What happened?" One of the werewolves asked his alpha, not making a move to help because he, as all the others, were still on guard, keeping a close eye on the vampire who stood awkwardly to the side.

"It doesn't matter now. What I need is the first aid kit and for someone to handle Fisk for the time being," Luke ordered, gesturing to the officer who might have been drooling on Simon's back. The werewolves broke into action, one of the grabbing the officer from Simon and leaving to the back room whilst another disappeared and reappeared shortly with a first aid kit, bringing it to Luke. The alpha, once having semi-proper supplies to treat the wounds on Nyx, grabbed multiple rolls of gauze and began adding pressure to the wound, that looked a lot like a stab wound. The werewolves left Luke and Simon per the alpha's request, leaving the two with the redhead.

Luke was frustrated. He wanted to stitch the open wound, but couldn't because he didn't know if it was a regular wound; if it had demon venom or the weapon used on her was laced with something. This was the Shadow World, anything was possible. All he could do was add pressure and hope that Nyx hangs on.

"She's losing too much blood, Luke do something!" Simon yelled out in panic, staying on the other side of the restaurant because of the intoxicating scent of the redhead's blood. He could hear her heartbeat, and was dreading how slow it became with each minute passing by.

"I'm trying!" Luke burst out in frustration, cringing slightly when he felt one of her lower ribs crack under the pressure he was applying on her side. "This is the Shadow World, Simon! I can't just stitch her back up, she needs a healing rune, or Magnus' help, or... something!" Luke closed his eyes and sighed, his teeth clenched together in utter defeat.

Officer Fisk let out a groan of pain, seemingly coming to consciousness, which made Luke panic and hit him across the face, using a little of werewolf strength. Instantly, Fisk was unconscious again. Looking up to Simon and his partner and friend Alaric, he spoke in urgency, only putting half his focus in speaking to them as he was still tending to the rapidly fading Nyx.

"I need you to take care of Nyx while Simon and I take care of Fisk really quick," Luke was reluctant in leaving Nyx, especially in her condition, but he knew he had to clear his name before it complicates things even further. Besides, his trusted Alaric with his life.

Alaric quickly nodded and took over for Luke, pressing the soaked ragged of cloth harder against her side, his eyes full of worry and sympathy for the girl. The two men disappeared in a matter of minutes, leaving him alone with the redheaded girl, which gave him time to observe her condition. He knew she was injected with substances, that much was obvious- the stab marks could be seen on the of her neck and the inside of her right elbow, they were red, irritated and definitely bruising. The questions was, what was she injected with? Judging by the foggy black veins present on her neck, chest and arms, it wasn't good at all.

"Jonathan," Nyx suddenly mumbled out so lowly that if it weren't for his enhanced hearing, he would have missed it. He furrowed his eyebrows, wondering who this Jonathan was. "Jonathan...Jona," she mumbled louder, this time coming out as a raspy gasp. Her eyebrows furrowed and her forehead crinkled. She looked like she was in pain, which made him concerned, because he thought she was waking up, but she didn't. He waited for her eyes to flutter open, but all he saw was movement under her eyelids, meaning that she was under the influence of a dream and what she was seeing was only in her mind.

In no time, Luke and Simon were back, their small smiles of delight disappearing quickly once they saw how Nyx's condition only worsened.

"How is she doing?" Luke asked Alaric, not looking at the man, but at Nyx who went back to her silent, suffering self.

"Worse, look I don't know how long she can stay in this condition Luke..." Alaric told Luke, not like his alpha, but as his friend. Luke went to say something, but immediately fell silent once he heard Alaric's next choice of words.

"She started mumbling a name, Jonathan or no, she called him Jona or something, does that name sound familiar to you?"

Luke was very familiar with that name.

"Yeah, Jonathan was Nyx's twin brother," Luke informed the group, not noticing how all of their eyes widened at that statement. "Nyx lived with her mother, father and twin brother in Idris for the first couple years of her life, and she was trapped in the same house that he burned to death in... I-I shouldn't say anymore, not when I know Nyx doesn't know the full story."

The alpha went silent after that, feeling tears gather in his eyes, yet they refused to fall. He somehow knew that he had to be strong, not only for himself, but for Simon, his pack, and especially Nyx. She needed an anchor to say in this world, and he was willing to stay by her side until he was physically ripped away. But even then, he would put up a fight. He would always put up a fight when it came to family.

Unfortunatly, the same time the restaurant's doors burst open, revealing Clary, a tall blonde scarily familiar man, and a barely conscious Jace, Nyx decided that she was in too much pain to hold on. And her heart gave out.

"I can't hear her heartbeat, Luke I can't hear her heartbeat!" Simon kept repeating, barely even noticing as Clary let out a chocked cry at the horrific scene before her. Her sister was lying on the ground, barely recognizable from the black veins, the grey skin and all the blood. There was so much blood.

Her sister, her beloved older sister whom she had taken for granted her entire life was dying. Or is dead. It was like the alternate dimension version of this world's Nyx was occurring, and Clary did not know how to stop it all. All Clary wanted was her sister back, but not matter how many times her throat burned from calling out her name, and how many tears had flown down her raw blood-shot eyes, her sister did not open her eyes.

In the midst of everything, in a world far from reality, Nyx looked around her, watching the breeze ruffle through the lively vegetation around her. It was serene, and very much inviting. Like a siren call. Yet somehow, she knew it was all fake; merely an illusion her poison-ridden mind had let her cherish before possibly her last moments of life. She knew it was all fake the moment her eyes looked on the blue-green eyes that were identical to hers, but were slowly starting to stain into an inky dark black.

Nyx knew this Neverland fantasy of hers was fake as soon as she laid eyes on her beloved unfamiliar Jona, as soon as she saw his angelic features slowly mold into something sinister, something darker and more twisted, as if he was the devil himself.
