"I still can't believe you and Ashton slept together," Gemma said for about the fiftieth time since the night it happened. To be honest, I can't believe it happened either, but nobody else needs to know that.

"Gemma please, I know you are shocked but we both need to get over it," I said with a shaky laugh as I finished my gentle winged eyeliner. Calum was having a house party tonight, meaning I would have to see Ashton for the first time since we slept together. It seems all we do these days is party, and I don't mind it, but I'm beginning to grow rather tired of having to only see Ashton in a party setting.

"If you two don't end up together, I will be seriously mad," Gemma said with a serious look on her face as she laced up her heels and I finished my makeup, indicating that we were ready to go. Our Uber arrived four minutes later, as we knew that neither of us would be in a state to drive after the party.

"So, why is Calum having this party?" I questioned, slightly confused as it was nobody's birthday and it was not a public holiday either.

"It's Calum, who knows," Gemma said with a laugh as we got into the Uber and left immediately, as we were already quite late for the party. My palms were already sweaty thinking about the fact that I had to see Ashton since neither of us have really spoken to each other since the night we slept with each other, besides from the occasional text or Snapchat.

"I really don't want to see Ashton," I suddenly said out of nowhere, as I fiddiled with the hem of my pink dress.

"Why not? You guys need to sort things out."

"Well, usually when you have sex with someone you tend to speak to the person afterwards," I whispered harshly to Gemma, making sure our diver did not hear my words. Gemma just rolled her eyes at me and we sat in an uncomfortable silence until we arrived at Calum's Northern Sydney apartment.

I love Gemma, she is my best friend, but she does not understand the fact that maybe Ashton and I are not meant to be together. Michael and Gemma have literally been in love since the day they met, and they are the only two people for each other. I thought Ashton is my soulmate, and maybe he still is, but right now I don't want to think of him as my soulmate, because if he really was my soulmate, we would not be in the position that we are right now.

"Hey, we are here Grace," Gemma said softly and I nodded, both of us thanking our diver before heading inside the apartment complex and up to the fifteenth floor, to where Calum had the penthouse apartment in this building. The music was loud, yet the elevator was filled with an awkward silence as Gemma and I were still not talking after our carride.

The door opened and we were greeted by the familar smell of alcohol and the sounds of All Time Low playing loudly.

"I am going to find Michael," Gemma said with a slight smile and I nodded as she went off to find her boyfriend, leaving me by myself. I made my way to the kitchen, where I opened a bottle of beer for myself, scanning the room for someone to talk to. Calum had invited a lot of people, most of them I did not know. I noticed some people that we used to go to school with, but because Calum was two years younger than Gemma, Ashton and myself, I did not know them well enough to talk to them.

"Hey stranger," Ally said coming up next to me, a warm smile on her face. It is no surprise that she is loved by everybody, as she is one of the kindest girls that I know, and makes anyone feel comfortable instantly.
