"You need to go home Grace," one of the Marketing assistants, Lara, said to me. I had been buried in work all day, and it was almost 9 pm, meaning I had officially been at work for twelve hours.

"I know I do," I laughed. "I should be done in around five minutes."

"Okay good," Lara said with a smile. "You work too hard."

"I didn't get this job by taking the easy road," I said with a slight smile before I sent another email, and quickly replying to another two before I decided it was definitely time for me to head home.

"Thanks for all your help Lara, you are a lifesaver," I said to the petite blonde girl on my way out of work.

"Anytime Grace, I will see you on Monday," she said before I headed down the lift and straight to my car.

I was supposed to be having dinner with Ashton tonight but I had to cancel at the last minute due to being swamped in work.

The drive home was a lot shorter than usual, as it was later and peak hour traffic had ended hours ago. When I turned into my street, I noticed that not only Ashton's car was parked out the front of my house, but so was Gemma's, Luke's and Lauren's.

I quickly parked my car, and headed inside, to the smell of Thai food, which made me smile knowing that everyone had gone to the trouble to bring my favourite cuisine to me.

"What are you all doing here?" I asked as I walked into my living room. Ashton was currently setting the table, whilst everyone else was pouring drinks and making sure that the food was all ready.

"Well, I thought since you could not come out for dinner with me, I thought why not bring dinner to you?" Ashton said with a huge grin, which made me feel really lucky and privileged to have a boyfriend and friends, that take the time to do sweet things like this.

"God I love you guys so much," I said with a smile, as Calum handed me a glass of champagne, before pulling me into a tight hug.

"We love you more Grace," he said with a laugh before Ally announced that dinner was ready, all of us heading to my table. Ally was beginning to show that she was pregnant now, as she was around three months pregnant, meaning that she was due in March next year, which was very exciting for her and Luke.

For as long as I have known Ally, she has always wanted children. She is quite a maternal woman and usually gets the worst case of baby fever that I have ever seen, which used to freak Luke out quite a bit when we were all in our late teens. Eventually, Luke got over his fear and began to realise how much he wanted kids too. I honestly would not put it past them to have a family of around five later in life.

"You look exhausted," Michael said before shoving a mouthful of green Thai curry in his mouth.

"Don't be rude Michael," Gemma scolded.

"I just look like what you always do," I said with a smirk, before having my first mouthful of pad Thai, everyone laughing at my stupid joke.

"Steady on Gracie," Michael said with a laugh, and I just rolled my eyes as we all continued to eat, conversation sneaking in between mouthfuls.
