"Come downstairs, everybody is here," I said gently to my youngest child, Tess, who was once again, reading Harry Potter in her room.

"Okay mummy," she said placing her book down and following me downstairs, to the living room where everybody was situated. Ashton was outside on the barbecue with Calum and Michael, whilst Lauren and Gemma were in the kitchen helping with all the cold food.

"Hey you two," I said pouring them a glass of wine each, watching Isabella as she ran outside to play with Calum and Lauren's daughter, Ellie.

"Oh hey," Gemma said with a smile, watching Tess and Ellie intently, her eyes longing for something more.

Gemma and Michael tried and tried multiple times to have a baby but after multiple miscarriages and Gemma going to a ridiculous amount of doctors, they realised that it was going to be extremely harmful to Gemma if she had a child, and would not only put her life at risk but also the potential baby. Gemma and Michael were both devastated, but decided they would put all their time and energy into having animals instead, now having three dogs and three cats instead, which are some of the most loved animals that I have ever seen.

"Do you know if Luke, Piper and Sophia are on their way yet?" I asked and right on queue, Luke walked in the front door with Piper and Sophia not far behind him, a small smile on both of their faces.

"It is good to be home," Luke said with a slight laugh after I pulled him into a tight hug, which everybody does with every moment they get.

Ally passed away six months ago, due to having a brain tumour. It was aggressive and took her way sooner than anybody would have liked, leaving Luke heartbroken and Piper, and her little sister, Sophia, without a mother.

"How are you?" I asked gently, as Luke and I walked into the living room, watching Piper walk outside and straight into the arms of Calum and Lauren's son, James, who has been dating Piper since Piper was fifteen, and James was fourteen. Sophia shyly made her way over to Tess and Ellie, who was playing with our dog Coco, and the only people we were waiting on now, were Ashton's and I eldest twins, Lachlan and Seb, who were on their way home from soccer practice.

"It hurts," Luke said honestly, which is all anybody had ever asked of him. "I wish she was here."

"We all do Luke, and you know that every single person in this room loves you so much."

After Ally had passed away, Luke had officially been with her for around thirty years, which is more than half his life. Luke and everybody knows, that he will probably never been in a relationship again because Ally was truly the love of his life.

"I know, I love you guys too," he said with a sad smile, before heading outside to join Ashton, Michael and Calum on the barbecue, as they began to plate everything up.

"SORRY WE ARE LATE!" Lachlan screamed as he walked through the front door, Seb laughing as he walked in behind him.

"DON'T YELL LACHLAN!" Seb yelled, causing me to groan and roll my eyes at the seventeen-year-old boys who looked exactly like their father, which is slightly creepy.

"Sit down you two, lunch is ready" I laughed as the two boys headed outside, as I helped Lauren and Gemma carry everything we needed to the patio.

We are all based in Los Angeles now, Ashton and I deciding to live here permanently after the twins were born. We all visit Australia regularly, as that is where most of our family still lives.

"This looks amazing, thank you, everyone," I said as we all sat down around the table. At least once a week, we make an effort to all get together for either, breakfast, lunch or dinner. This week it was lunch at mine and Ashton's.

5 Seconds of Summer are still together but are on an indefinite hiatus due to Ally's passing, which all the fans understand. They have produced a few more albums, and have had scattered tours, but they are wanting to slow down and go more into the producing and writing side of things, instead of performing all the time.

"Thank you for having us guys," Calum said, through a mouthful of food, making everybody roll their eyes at him.

"No worries mate, you practically live here anyway," Ashton laughed next to me, making me let out a slight giggle as we all continued to talk and laugh over lunch, whilst keeping an eye on our children who were eating inside, as that is the way that things go at these lunches.

Piper is a spitting image of her mother, whilst having the musical talents of her father. She is currently at University, studying Law, also getting her mothers brains. Sophia looks exactly what Luke would look like if he was a little girl. Curly blonde hair and bright blue eyes, with a toothy eight-year-old smile.

"So are we all going to James's show next week?" Lauren asked and all of us nodded in agreement. James is in a band called 'Wired' with three other boys. James plays the guitar much to his father's disappointment, but he has his vocal talent, sounding scarily similar to Calum.

"Of course, wouldn't miss it," Luke said with a smile, a genuine one at that which had been rare for him lately, but who could blame him?

James is Lauren and Calum's oldest child, oozing musical talent just like Calum. From the moment he could walk and talk, all James wanted to do was sing and play the guitar, and he could not have been blessed with a better family to be able to do that. Ellie is a mix between Lauren and Calum, as she has an incredible singing voice, but ever since she was a little girl, all she has wanted to be is a doctor, and she has the brains for it too.

------

"You know this time like thirty years ago we were all on tour in Australia or something," Ashton said after we had all had a few too many glasses of wine.

"How do you even remember that dude?" Michael laughed, as we all sat around in the living room, all of our children outside running amuck, including Piper and James.

"Dude, what are we still seventeen?" Luke laughed, Michael, rolling his eyes at Luke before throwing a pillow at him, almost knocking over Luke's glass of wine.

"You are both acting like we are still seventeen," Ashton scoffed with his arm around my shoulders, my head resting on his shoulder. "And I remember it because I was scrolling through my laptop this morning and found some photos from that tour."

"God, we were all so young," Lauren sighed, a slight smile on her face as Calum kissed the top of her head.

"Look how far we have," Calum said, as we all silently looked around the room, wishing that one more person was here.

Despite Ally's passing, we all are still as close as ever, if that is even possible. I cannot imagine doing life without anybody in the room, and nor do I want to. We have all been through way too much to let each other go without a fight.

"I love you," Ashton whispered in my ear, so softly that I was the only person that could hear him, or well so I thought.

"You two are still as gross as ever," Gemma scoffed and I rolled my eyes at her, as we continued to reminisce about the tour days, or as Luke likes to stay 'the days we were all out of control,' and to be honest, he is not wrong.

"You love us," I laughed and Gemma smiled sincerely.

"Of course I do, I love all of you."

"And all of us love you," I said softly.
