happiest moment of my life, well let's give some backup. I woke up about an hour ago, being cuddled by an asleep adorable Shane. I smiled to myself. I hugged Shane bringing him closer to me, also waking him up. He hugged back once he woke up. "Morning princess" He says giving me a kiss on my head. Just one question..... How tf did I get this lucky to be able to wake up in Shanes arms, the very same Shane that kissed me and said he loved me, get kissed on the forehead and be called princess???? I don't know, like I honestly can't wrap that around my brain. But in real life, outside my thoughts, I sat there with Shane looking down with a huge grin on my face. It seemed like I sat there for hours just smiling, no talking. Shane patted my leg and said "what do you want to do today?" "I don't know, I don't have to be back anytime soon today since my mom has to go to work" "Work on a sunday?" "Yeah.. Its so she has enough money to send me and my sister Morgan to college" "Oh... Well, at least that means we can do what I already had planned" A smirk formed on his face, he'd planned out everything for today. "What? What are we doing?"  He held my hands, looks me in the eye and says, "how would you like to go to pride with me?" I could not believe it!!! All I've wanted to do this whole month is go to pride!! But I'm not out to my family, so they would never take me. But now I get to go with Shane freaking Dawson!!! Seriously, could life get ANY better? "Yes! Yes!! Wait really? Ohmygod Shane!!" "Yes really! Now climb into your room and get all the pride stuff you own" He knew, and I knew, but no one else. I had so many pride things but had to keep them hidden so my family wouldn't find them

Yup, no one knows. I grab a drawstring bag and start stuffing things in my whole pride section was now in my bag. I threw it into Shane's room as he helps me get through his window. "Okay here's everything I have" I say dumping it out. "Pride flag, a 'why is straight the default' shirt from love Simon, a handheld pride flag, a pair of thigh high rainbow socks, rainbow tutu , rainbow fan, love wins necklace tag, purrrride pin, a rainbow beach ball, and a rainbow bouncy ball." I say sorting and showing Shane everything in my bag. "You?" I ask. He pulls out his bi pride flag, rainbow colored hair spray "we can do a lot with this" He says and continues, fuzzy knee high rainbow socks, rainbow bracelets, pride shorts, a love wins rainbow tee, and some rainbow face paint. "Ok now go change in the bathroom, I'll change here" He says giving me my clothes. I go into the bathroom and change. I. Am. So. Excited.

I change into all my pride gear and wait for Ryland to step out. We both are fully prided, pretty sure that's not a word, and I can tell Ryland is so excited. He has a huge smile plastered on his face "ok sit here so I can color spray your hair" I say pulling out a chair. The color washes right out so he doesn't have to worry. I spray different colors into his hair making his hair rainbow. I sit where we was and he does the same to me so we match. I've been going to pride ever since I was 7, making this year is my 10th anniversary of going to pride. It also works out that I am family friends with the people running pride so when I told them my plan ofc they thought it was amazing and agreed to it. What my plan is? Well, we'll get to that later... I also had some face paint so we fooled around with that.

This was my first pride... But it seemed like we were very early. "What time does it start?" I ask, it was almost 8am, I know we woke up early. "10:00" "Wow why are we so early, I guess we'll have a good place to watch it though" I tell him finishing painting the flag on his face. "Oh, well... We're not watching it Ryland." He tells me as I get confused. "What?" "This is my 10 year anniversary in the pride parade, were going to be in it!" I couldn't believe it "what?!!" "Well were. Just going to be. Walking in it, not on a big float this year... But we can rally up the crowd still" "Oh my god Shane!!!!" I hug him tight. Not only is he taking me to pride, I'M GOING TO BE IN IT WITH SHANE FREAKING DAWSON!!! I couldn't wait for it to start. Pride was about half an hour give or take away so we had time.
