"N-no... You have me... Forever."-JG
[Third Person]
The pain was horrible. So horrible it brought tears to Journey's eyes. And all she could think about was getting her baby girl out safe and healthy.
"Journey, I need for you to push, okay?" The doctor tells her.
"Okay..." She sobs holding on to Jason's hand.
"Ok. Push sweetie."
She pushes. With everything in her. She felt herself about to faint. But she didn't care. She just wanted her baby to be born.
"I see her head. C'mon Journey you're almost there." He says.
She pushes and pushes, closing her eyes. And finally...
"It's a girl!" The doctor says.
Jason could no longer hold his tears away as he heard his baby girl cry for the first time.
"Jay... She's beautiful." He sobs, turning to her. His smile fades as he realizes she's not responding.
"Jay? Jay?!" He sobs.
"She's going into shock." The doctor says.
The nurse quickly takes Jason to the door, but not before he told them to save the love of his life.
An hour had passed. Sixty seconds without no one knowing what was wrong. Aiden stayed on the phone making sure the tabloids weren't going nuts. Ms. Grace was trying to stay calm for her child. And Jason... Jason was doing something he hadn't did in years.
He was praying...
"I-I l-love her... Please... Don't ate her away from me." He sobs in his hands. Ms. Grace goes to his side, hugging him.
"Family of Journey Grace?" A doctor says.
"Yes? How is she? How's the baby?" Jason asks all at once.
"She lost a lot of blood. But she's stable now." The doctor says.
"And the baby?" Ms. Grace asks.
"She fine. We're just checking her breathing at the moment."
They all sigh in relief. "Can we see her?"
"Yeah of course. She's sleeping at the moment." He informs.
"Go ahead Jason. We have to call family." Ms. Grace says. he nods and walks down the hall to Journey's room.
[Journey]
The last thing I remembered was hearing my baby cry. That's all I wanted to hear. And after that, nothing mattered.
But now I'm in the dark. Why? I don't know. But it's peaceful.
"Jay? Baby... Please wake up." He says.
Jason? Is he crying?
"Our baby is so beautiful. She looks just like you." He chuckles sadly.
"We still have to name her... And I need you to wake up."
I groan, slowly opening my eyes. I look around the room to see get well cards and things.
"Jay?" Jason breathes.
"T-the baby... W-where's the b-baby?" I ask.
"She's okay. She's fine." He says grabbing my hand. I sigh in relief, staring at our hands.
"She's beautiful..." He sighs.
"Really?" I ask.
"Um hum... She looks like you." He chuckles.
"What color eyes do she have?" I ask curious.
"Mine..." He smirks. I smile.
"I thought I lost you... Again." He whimpers.
"N-no... You have me... Forever." I say.
He looks at me, his eyes widen with surprise. He leans into me, pecking my lips.
"So... What should we name the baby?" He asks.
"I don't know." I say.
"Well... I read somewhere that your favorite author is Maya Angelou." He smirks.
"You read too many magazines." I chuckle.
"What? I'm a fan."
"Oh? So you're one of my Gracies?"
"Yeah. But don't tell anyone. I'll lose cool points."
"Why?"
"Gracie sounds girly." He says.
"Well... Most of my readers are girls..."
"Wait... How about Gracie?"
"Gracie what?"
"Gracie Alice?"
"Hmm... Gracie Alice McCann... It's pretty..." I say.
"Yep. It's perfect. And I picked it out."
"So you're just gonna take all the credit?" I ask.
"Yup." He smiles popping the 'p'.
I shake my head, laughing at his silliness.
"You know I love you right?" He asks.
"Yeah. I know." I smile.
And to be honest. I did.
(A/n: lame ass ending. But what about the baby's name? Gracie Alice McCann. I think I'm going to really like this next chapter. Jazzy's coming to visit! Yay!!!! Prepare for cuteness overload:)
