STATUTORY WARNING: None actually. I realised when i was underage I'd still read mature fanfics so yea, young people will probably read this any way. Just don't report it okay xD

you up?

It was 2 AM according to his phone clock and he was not expecting a reply. Swayam had been gone for 3 days now and Sharon hadn't felt time pass slower than this before. He was coming back the next day and she couldn't wait to see him again. He was about to fall asleep when his phone screen glared with one new message.

yes. what do you know of sleepless nights ;)  She replied.

sw: hey i missed you too know.

sh: yea, yea. so much that you did not have the time to call me even once. why are you up so late?

sw: im so used to having you beside me in bed now. can barely get any sleep alone.

Sharon smiled at his reply.

sh: id rather be under you than beside you, mr. shekhawat ;)

sw: fuck. what are you wearing.

sh: your shirt.

sw: and?

sh: panties.

sw: no bra?

sh: you know i dont wear a bra while sleeping, swayam.

sw: oh right. i dont think youre sleeping anytime soon. you alone?

Sharon felt color rise to her cheeks reading his messages.  She wasn't a just turned 13, hormonal teenager anymore but she couldn't help it. Sharon recalled their last encounter and how it ended with him teasing and leaving her like that. She had made sure not to touch herself; decided to wait for him. Just for the sake of it. And the thought of it had her aroused already.

sh: no, actually. i asked kriya to sleepover for these three days. it gets scary here alone at night. shes in the next room though.

Swayam felt a tug at his heart reading the lines. He hadn't thought of it before leaving that she'd be all by herself in the house. Though her asthma had subsided by good levels, she still had recurring nightmares very frequently and why wouldn't she; after all she went through first with Ruhi and then Alok. If only he had been there timely.

A sudden unreasonable fear gripped him and he dialed her number. The phone barely rang twice before she picked up.

"Hi" Sharon spoke.

"Sharon" his voice was tender. She was expecting something more commanding but either ways, his voice always soothed her. This was the first time they were speaking on call since he left and boy, his voice was like velvet to her ears.

"Have you been alright?" he continued. "I'm sorry I left you alone. Again."

"Swayam, I'm fine. I've been fine. Stop blaming yourself like that I don't like when you do that" she replied, condescendingly.

"So, why are you up?"

"Lets just say I can't sleep without you beside me either."

"On top of you, you mean."

"Yea that too"

"Take off your shirt"

"I dont want to. It smells like you"
