22: Worth The Cast

"What now?" I dejectedly told Queen Sarahina.
"I have no idea child but don't worry, just distract Aldrum with defence spells while I figure out how to get rid of him once and for all," the Queen said. The idea of someone having my back gave me a little hope, "Go on child, waste no time."

I glanced at my right arm for some defence spells. There weren't many spells left. I guess I could cast the lion spell, they'll distract him.

"Zolbora, Zolbora," I chanted as ten lions appeared and sprint towards their food, the King. Ten won't be enough, I needed something they'll squash the king, which I know wasn't possible... or was it?

"Sarum Yari." Ten elephants materialized the second I cast the spell and ran towards the King, "Tinto Rowley," ten tigers dart towards the King. One of them almost eat his leg.

The throne room was supposed to have royals but there were more animals than them. It was like a zoo and the main animal there was the monkey, also known as, King Aldrum.

"Ah!" I screamed as a rat/guard ran towards me to attack. Thank god, Jake came just in time and sliced him into pieces with a sword. It looked as it was the last guard who was turned into a rat so I chanted, "Loray Mantarium," and all the boys were turned back into their regular form. "Thank you for saving me," I said to Jake.
"Don't mention it," He said, running his hands over his silky hair.

"Ella! I've! Got! It!" Queen Sarahina's voice from behind me, startled me. She was practically shrieking in joy.
"What?" I asked.
"Do you still have that gem Sebastian found?"
"Yes, it's right he-" I halfway said as I looked at my hand, expecting the gem to be dangling from my bracelet but off course, what I'm expecting never eventuates, "Wait! Where's the gem?" I literally screamed, "it was attached to my bracelet," then it slowly hit me, "Oh! I think I must have dropped it in the witches hut since I remember wearing it when I was there."
"Well, we have to find it since it captures anyone in it. All we have to do is say the person's name and rub it," the Queen explained, "so, come on! Let's go to the hut, while Aldrum is still busy with the animals. You boys wait here since it would just take a few minutes for us to come back." They all nodded.

I gave the boys a few weapons to protect themselves in case the King finishes off all the animals, which would be nearly impossible, but still, I had to satisfy myself.

I chanted, "Altro Sumpun Witloray," and black cold slime-like substance barged out of my hands and literally wrapped us inside its cold texture. After a few seconds, we were standing outside the hut. So we meet again.
When we got inside the hut, we both stopped dead in our tracks because we saw an old lady, examining the gem Sebastian found in that cave. If I'm correct, I think that's the witch, the woman that gave the Queen Caliginous.
