"What!" both, Me and Sebastian jinked.
"A few minutes ago you were rebuking me on how I shouldn't have run away but now..." Sebastian said.
"Yeah I know, but come to think of it, the king is a bitch, risking our life's like that." Jake said and then looked at me with a smile "what do you think Ella?"
"When should we leave?" were the words that sprinted out of my mouth.
"Good, I think we should leave this place in a couple of days. But not now! Because the king of Highdroland came to visit this palace, that means they could have increased the security, So we'll have no such chance of escaping." Jake said.
"You're right." I said. "well, I'm tired of all of this, I'm gonna snooze." I said as a yawn escaped my mouth.
"How can you sleep in a time like this?" Sebastian said.
"Hey! A girl needs her beauty sleep, I don't want to be called panda eyes." I said before jumping into my comfortable bed.
"Ella wake up!"
When I heard those words, I got startled. Those were the same words that Jake said when Sebastian ran away.
I opened my eyes and found Jake and Sebastian both staring at me in confusion.
"What now?" I said in a lazy tone.
"Show her," Jake told Sebastian.
Sebastian took out a very familiar gem out of his pocket. It was sheeny red, and it was covered with small dust particles. I took one look at that gem and immediately recognised it. When I had that wacky dream, I saw that the woman was holding the same gem that Sebastian had now (open chapter one to read the deranged dream Ella had)
"Um... where did you get that?" I asked Sebastian in a loud and eager voice which startled him.
"I found it on a blown out torch inside the Cave of Sorcery."
"I'll tell you something, but you'll probably think I'm crazy."
"Spill the beans girl!" Sebastian said, invigorating.
"Well, I had a dream in which I saw this gem. It looks just like this one."
"Ok you're right, you are crazy." Sebastian jest.
"Well, I think we should give the gem to King Aldrum, maybe he'll know what to do with it," Jake suggested.
"Actually, I think I know someone who can tell me a thing or two about the gem," I said.
"And that person is?" Sebastian asked.
"Queen Sarahina."
"What!" Jake and Sebastian both said at the same time.
"Um, I'll explain everything, but later," I said, hoping they wouldn't ask me more questions.
"Why not now?" Jake said, shattering my invisible hope into pieces.
"Um.. actually I.. um..made a promise to a certain person that I won't say anything about this." I lied and hoped that my nose wouldn't grow long like The Pinnochio.
"Is everything ok?" Jake said, looking sad and concerned.
"Yeah, everything's fine. Now can I have the gem?" I asked Sebastian and he handed me the gem.
Today is going to be a rough day.
