chapter ten // love you long time

After that song in Luke's room, Luke and Michael finally became a couple. They were taking things slow, but they loved every minute of it.

So, after three months, lots of kisses, way too many cuddles to count, a few "I love you's", countless movies and make out sessions, lots of late nights talks and some really hot sex, Luke was ready to introduce Michael as his boyfriend to his parents.

Michael was nervous, extremely nervous. He had already met Liz, but not as Luke's boyfriend. What if she thought he wasn't good enough for Luke and hated him?

"Mikey, she'll love you almost as much as I do alright? stop worrying and kiss me" Luke told him, sitting in his lap on his bed.

Michael smiled, he really loved Luke. He had waited since he first saw Luke to have him like this. He leaned down and gave his boyfriend a sweet kiss.

"you guys are so in love it makes me sick" Calum said, from the ground in front of the bed, playing video games.

"they're love sick, obviously Cal" Ashton said, sitting beside him, giggling. He came home early from the cabin too and lately all four of them had been hanging out all the time. Luke considered them his own friends and it was nice to say he finally had friends.

Michael and Luked looked at each other and smiled, things were finally good. So what if Luke's mom didn't like him? Luke would still love him.

The day finally came and Michael was nervous as hell. He'd been trying to act like he wasn't, but he was. He just loved Luke a whole lot and he didn't want to mess anything up. Ever. He didn't think he could ever find someone he'd love as much as he loves Luke.

"michael calm down, she'll love you, alright?" Luke said soothingly to his boyfriend over the phone while Michael was walking to his house.

"no she won't, I look like a wannabe punk kid that skips school all the time" Michael said, causing Luke to laugh slightly.

"well I love that about you" Luke said, Michael could tell he was smiling. Lately Luke had become more confident talking to Michael and Michael loved it.

After talking for a few more minutes, Michael finally hung up when he was only minutes away from Luke's house.

After he knocked on Luke's door, he felt his heart pounding. He'd never been this scared about anything.

"hey Mikey" Luke said smiling, opening the door.

"hey" Michael said and quickly kissed Luke, it felt nice to be able to do that whenever he pleased. The kiss was short but nice and it calmed Michael down a bit.

Once it was over Luke grabbed Michael's hand and took him to the dining room where the rest of Luke's family was.

"this is my boyfriend Michael"

The dinner was suprisingly really enjoyable, Michael loved Luke's family and Luke assured Michael they loved him too. They talked about what Michael's intentions were with Luke, what Michael wanted to do when he was older and it wasn't awkward at all, he felt comfortable with them.

Later that night Luke and Michael were laying in Luke's bed, it was dark out and the only light was coming from the bright moon outside. The boys were cuddled up together, Luke's head on Michael's stomach, their hands intertwined.

"did you mean it?" Luke asked, breaking the silence they'd been sitting in for quite awhile.

"mean what?"

"did you mean it when you said that your intentions with me was to keep me happy for as long as I'd let you?" Luke asked.

"of course I meant it, I want to keep you happy and love you for as long as you'll let me Luke"

Luke lifted his head off Michael's stomach and faced Michael. "I really love you" he said before leaning up to kiss his boyfriend.

"I love you long time" Michael mumbled in between kisses.

A couple years later, Michael and Luke walked down the aisle hand in hand after saying their vows. Holding hands was now a normal thing for them, just like Michael had wished for all those years back.

A/N: well guys this is the end, I hope you guys liked this story!! I'm a bit sad to be ending it because I loved seeing how much you guys liked it but I really don't want to drag this story out too long.
